My favourite part is that the sniper's gun says "Sniper Gun" on the side.
Team Fortress 2
Game » consists of 12 releases. Released Oct 10, 2007
The long-awaited sequel to the class-based first-person shooter Team Fortress Classic sports a unique cartoony visual style, more accessible gameplay, and a very large amount of updates and new features since its original release.
Hey check out this Chinese Team Fortress rip!
I love the random cat in the Meet the Fatman trailer. But this is just... terrible. What is it with all these blatant game knockoffs, Asia? Anyone remember Runes of Magic? Sigh.
Edit: Here's some game play footage off a Chinese site. (actual video starts about 20 seconds in)
On page 122 of the Steam page on the subject HERE there is a link to the client. People there are still investigating it, though so be wary.
This has existed for a long while.
Also, there was a Korean one a couple years ago, with a bunch of anime-looking girl characters IIRC.
Like the 'meet the sniper' though I think that aside from that the other characters just don't have any interesting personality to them compared to the TF2 characters. Maybe it's just that their idea of the mg heavy in their game is just the fatman, seems like the creative people were out to lunch that day & left it to one of the accounting people to come up for a name for that character.
Yep, that is a bonafide 100% true rip-off right there, god damn even the "meet the" videos.... the funny thing is that Valve can't do shit about it.
Man the chinese sure love 'em some copying, even being one of the oldest nations on the planet and having invented many things seems they lost all creativity, hell maybe that's it, they just got tired of making shit up and decided to just copy everything.
This is a plain case of copyright. To bad Valve can not do anything. China is REAL REAL bad about doing stuff like this.Hey check out this World of Warcraft ripoff! *shows every mmo ever*

If it doesn't have hats and mixes in some maps and elements from BF: Heroes, it could seriously be better than TF2. Opinions.
So you take out an element which is good and doesn't affect anything other than a bit of personal customization and then mix it with an awful other game? You want an opinion on that? Really?

Nope. That is just my opinion. I don't like how hats have become the main focus of development in TF2, with little focus on what once made the game fun, and I liked the maps in heroes and I think adding more unique abilities to the classes could make the game more fun.@Jack268 said:

@Jack268 said:Except the weapons have gone too far as well. Before, there was a drawback to every weapon, so there actually was a reason to use the default weapon. Now they just throw in items that are blatantly overpowering any earlier weapon. They also make hats parts of sets, making them have an actual gameplay impact, which they said they wouldn't. Overall, I'm just tired of the new content TF2 is- CHANGING MAGS!@Protonguy said:How are hats Valve's main focus of development exactly? LOL I was wondering if anyone else caught that. That was easily my favorite part of the video.Oh that's a sniper gun.

Valid opinion. I don't share it but I can definitely see people wanting a more vanilla version. Overall i'm impressed with the level of balance they've achieved with so much randomness but I think it might of been a more balanced affair before the onslaught of weapons and sets.

I wouldn't say something so ignorant without running a quick Google search, sir. But I have the utmost respect for you for checking me on that one. :P
Hey man, I said "I believe" all I remember is watching dev diaries of it and it being narrated by a guy with a accent.@TheMustacheHero said:

" developed by the Taiwanese developer Runewaker Entertainment and adapted for the English and German-speaking market by German company Frogster Interactive."
So it was published by Germans. That's what I was thinking of.

After which they got left well behind. Of course, these days they are making up for it by ripping off every IP and invention the rest of the world comes up with.
@dudeglove: It's not so much that any weapon is overpowered, but ever since the saw that medics can heal with by taunting was released, they've released more weapons that are just straight upgrades without any drawbacks to earlier weaponsStuff, stuff, stuff. Did I answer your question? Valve said already said the "hat stats" were a mistake. Why are you here?
