One of The Best Multi-player Games

Team Fortress 2 was in the making for 9 years. And 3 years and 9 class updates later people are still playing it. The game's 60's look has a very stylized look and feel. The 9 classes that are available(Pyro,Scout, Soldier, Heavy, Demoman, Engineer, Spy, Medic and Sniper) all have their strengths and weaknesses. No class is overpowered and all the classes have 2 sets of weapons: Their Default weapons and their update weapons. All the update weapons encourage new styles of play such as the Pyro's Backburner encourages ambushes and flanking.  Team Fortress has 6 game modes: Capture the Intel, Control Points, Territory Control,  Payload, King of the Hill, and Arena. Capture the Intel has both teams trying to catch each others Intel while protecting their own.  Payload has one team trying to guide a bomb into the other team's base. There is another variant of Payload called Payload Race. In this Payload each team has a bomb and must escort their bomb while blocking the other team"s bomb.  Control Points has one team fighting to capture control points and one defending those control points over 3 stages. Each stage has 2 points and has a total of 6 points. Every time a team captures a point a point is added to that team's score. Teams switch between games.  Territory Control has both teams fighting for territory over areas of land. When one team wins, they get that area and vice versa.  The game wins when one team has all territories. Kong of the hill is like Control Points except there is only one. Each team has a timer. When a team controls the single point their timer goes down. The team that has their timer go to zero first wins. Arena is a Search and Destroy type of game mode. Each team must kill off the other team and respawning is turned off.   All the maps built by Valve are balanced and don't give an advantage to either team.  Game-play is extremely balanced. However, this game is multiplayer only so there will  be some amounts of lag while playing depending on your connection strength.  The game also includes a backpack system to hold all the items you find or craft. The game also has a crafting system that lets you any item you want (As long as you have the right combination of items)  Items in Team Fortress 2 can be found by random weapon drops or crafting. Items include weapons and hats.  The only learning curve is learning how to play the game modes and using the weapons. New players may have a tough time playing against the Pro's who have all the items.  Over all Team Fortress 2 is a very well made game with a very nice look and solid gameplay.  It must be a good game because millions are still playing it 3 years after it released.

One of the best multiplayer shooters money can buy 0

Team Fortress 2 is addicting. While writing this review I want to play it right now. The gameplay is that good. For those who don't know, Team Fortess 2 is a sequel to a mod which came out out way back for Quake 3. It is a class based online multiplayer shooter. You can choose beetween nine different classes, from the speedy Scout to the all-offensive Heavy Weapons Guy. You play across 7 different maps each with their own special mode. With modes like Capture the Flag and Control Points. Team F...

      Rocket Jumping to Victory 0

First thing noticeable about Team Fortress 2 is the visual art style. Derivation from 1950's and 60's advertising automatically centers this game around the rare category of quirky and unique themed games this generation. Where squad based realistic shooters dominate the market, TF2 is an oasis in this time of need. Don't let the name fool you however, the games Fortresses take a backseat to the classes. There's no shortage of abundance as you take control of nine highly unique classes across t...
