tekken 6 is out and i been playin non stop. but i have to say azezel is the cheapest boss of all time(for a 3d fighter) i mean my god why would you make a boss that attaks randomly and not only that is invulnerable when doing most of his attaks.
if any one else has bought the game wat do you think about him?

cheapest boss in 3d fighting game ever
I haven't played Tekken 6 yet, but totally unfair bosses are an absolute staple of the genre. Although 3D Fighter bosses generally aren't anywhere near as bad as 2D (See basically every SNK boss ever. Oh. My. God.) but I'm guessing you know that, since you made the distinction.
The only fighter boss that comes to mind at the moment that isn't massively unfair is Dural from Virtua Fighter. She's just kinda boring though...
Seth is a dick, but as far as Street Fighter games go, he's probably the easiest by a decent margin. Gill and Alpha 3's Bison were fairly nightmarish :P
Really want to try Tekken 6 though. SHEEP!
azazel and seth are pussies compared to all the king of fighters bosses
I think it was kof 2002 the guy with the razor cape was ridiculous
" @trophyhunter: Oh, you think that's ridiculous? Try I-no from Guilty Gear XX! She has one attack that kills you in like two hits!! "ahh get out of here
" @Emandudeguyperson said:No, seriously!" @trophyhunter: Oh, you think that's ridiculous? Try I-no from Guilty Gear XX! She has one attack that kills you in like two hits!! "ahh get out of here "
Man I fucking HATE this stupid boss!!! Cheap piece o SHIT I wanna kill whoever decided he was a good idea, it keeps fucking up my stats as I have a loada wins then I get 2 Azazel and th losses come in! BUT ITS SO DAMN CHEAP, if he didnt spam th living jesus out of th attack with th flies I wouldnt mind, but sometimes you cant even get close coz ur stuck in animation loops from taking damage!!
I HATE HIM!!!!!!!!

I don't suppose you've faced the demon from hell known as Gold Order Sol? That dude puts just about every other damn boss in a fighting game to shame....at least for 2-D ones if were keeping the 2-D and 3-D separate.
" @Diamond said:True, and I like Demon's Souls as well. Those enemies are rarely completely invincible to your attack, and you can tell when they are." Yea, I agree. Worst part about the Tekken 6 boss is he can block when attacking, and he blocks randomly, and doesn't animate his blocking. Basically he's 100% invulnerable to your attacks 90% of the time. "That sounds brutal and unfun. And I like Demon's Souls.
Personally from the SNK bosses I've fought, Azazel is worse. I guess it depends on what mode you're playing, the arena in campaign mode's version of Azazel is far far worse than arcade mode, and that's where I had the above problems. You can't use strategy, tactics, or skill when the boss simply chooses if he should take damage or not.
SNK Boss Syndrome is rather common in Tekken. Just look up Jinpachi on Hard. His fireball attack kills you in one hit. Two if you're lucky. And if you're REALLY unlucky, he'll do the one-two fireball.
Dude, that's nothing campared to I-no in Guilty Gear, especially when you were playing Dizzy's story mode. A 2x speed boss with regenerating health and a boss-exclusive special that can easily lop off more than a half of your health if you're not careful. I threw my controller at the screen after a few dozen tries because you had to start over the story mode again if you lost to her with Dizzy
" ah man I hate Seth. my mate traded in SF4 after about 4 days cos he couldn't beat him even on easiest. "Man, sorry to say but he he wasn't even bad at SF4.
He was absolutely terrible at it.
I don't think Seth is even close to being the first on the cheapest boss list.
I really don't like the cheap boss trend in fighting games, seriously it just makes people mad. The Tekken 6 Review at GameRevolution.com really hits the nail on the head for this issue.
I haven't played a lot of fighting games outside of Tekken; for me the Tekken 5 boss Jinpachi was way tougher, that gay ass fireball would kill me so many times, and he would do fake fireball casts when until I stopped side-stepping. I've never been so angry at a game in my life, and that's saying something.
Final bosses are supposed to be tough. And you are only playing 4 rounds to get to him. Tekken 3 used to make you do 9 rounds before playing the final boss. And the sense of accomplishment from beating Azazel is awesome. You want to talk about cheap bosses, check out Alpha 152 from Dead or Alive 4. That boss is a lot worse than Azazel.
" @dutch42 said:yeah it was pretty weak. I tried to get him to persist with it but he wanted to trade it in for some rpg game I think." ah man I hate Seth. my mate traded in SF4 after about 4 days cos he couldn't beat him even on easiest. "Man, sorry to say but he he wasn't even bad at SF4. He was absolutely terrible at it. I don't think Seth is even close to being the first on the cheapest boss list. "
" Haven't played it yet, but it can't be as bad as Seth surely? That guy was a totally cheap dick. "Probably worse than Seth, simply because he's a huge monster thing. He doesn't even do an animation for most of his attacks, you just get hit.
Not played Tekken since Devil Kazuya was the boss and he was easy. I vote for the boss in Dead or Alive 4. Extremely fast, almost unblockable combos that do 3/4 of your health and every little punch takes huge amount of damage. Killed me in less than 2 seconds once. Took me at least 100 fights before I even could get to a decent win ratio against it and with decent I mean I won maybe 1/3-1/4 times or so.
Tho every tekken has had a ridiculous boss none of them have ever caused me so much blinding rage as azazel!
He is the epitome of a ridiculously stupid boss!
Its like jinpachi and seth made a baby and that baby inherited ancient demon powers lol
Cheaper than Seth?Way way way way wayyyyy cheaper IMO. Seth wasn't very bad at all...

Makes you not want to ever play arcade mode in the same way.
I have to say that I had to stopped playing this game. I rented it and started to enjoy it a lot at first. Played some Arcade and whooped some ass online. And then, that little cunt showed up and my enjoyment dropped dramatically. I can't believe the faggotry of this fucking boss. I put more than 80 hours into SFIV and Seth was a pussy but this cunt is unbe-fucking-lievable. Anyways, the game overall is great. Not as fantastic as SFIV but very close. It's good also to alternate between the two since they both have different playing styles. I think I might pick up Super in February or March whenever it comes out cuz I did sell my copy because my mainly just played with my friends and people online were faggots. But, I love the new characters and old ones they brought back so definitely will pick that up. Might pick Tekken up down the line when I get my heat off of it and maybe when it's bout 30 pick it up. Anyways, thank you if you read this but I needed somewhere to post my anger and I am definitely calmed down a lot more.
I despise cheap fighting game bosses. I think on the genre's easiest settings, developers need to implement some way of lessening the frustration fight-to-fight with those bosses. For example, if you lose more than twice in a row, have the player's health bump up by 5% and the boss's health lower by 2.5%, and have the numbers increase each round. There's no real reason for the cheapness on consoles. In an arcade, sure, I get it - I don't like it, but I get the need to suck in more quarters. On a console, we've already paid $60 (or in my case $36) for the game, and there's no reason to frustrate your players that much on easier settings.
