    Terry Gilliam is an actor, animator, writer and director. He is probably best known for his work as a member of the British Comedy group Monty Python.

    Terry Gilliam worked as an animator and occasional cast member during his time with Monty Python. He created the distinctive cut paper stop-motion animations that have become widely associated with that group.

    After Monty Python broke up, he went on to write and direct a number of films. His credits include Time Bandits, Brazil, 12 Monkeys, and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, just to name a few.

    Gilliam has lent his voice to a handful of video games, most of them related to Monty Python. He recently bucked that trend, and in 2012 he provided the voice of the King in The Unfinished Swan.
