    Charming, Inventive, Short. 2

Winterbottom is not the most like-able character. Stealing from orphans, flooding the local town, and setting fire to a bakery are just a few of this man's sins. For what, you may ask? Fucking pies! I mean, there are some things I would soil my integrity for (all of which involve Heidi Klum) but pies? Ah, but while pies lead to his damnation, they also represent his salvation. Given a second chance to correct his mistakes, a magical, time-bending super pie bestows upon P.B. the ability to go bac...

The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom Review 0

This XBOX Live Arcade game has you assuming the role of PB Winterbottom a pie hungry thief whose only love in life is to steal and eat pies. You will be trying to capture a very elusive pie, but on the way you'll have to solve puzzle after puzzle to unlock other levels to get your closer to that pie.I  really like the graphical style they went with in this game. Almost entirely black and white with an old silent film type of feel to it. This is even further enforced with the mechanism of recordi...

Winterbottom's Quest for Pie, Is an XBLA Treat you can't deny! 0

The Misadventures of P.B Winterbottom is an Xbox Live Arcade game with some style. The silent-film look of the game is one of the great features of the game, alongside the music and interesting story. It involves P.B Winterbottom, a man on a mission to eat all the pies he can find, although this leads him into some sort of time portal which gives him the ability to clone himself in different ways. Each world is about 5-10 levels, and the rules of beating each level will change how you obtain pie...

    Very interesting 0

This game is a very fun game. It has some very cute art and interesting storying telling but it also has some very innovative game mechanics how you travel back in time time shifts and many others.the controls felt nice on the pc. It is also only 5 bucks on steam so for the price and just how good this game is i would tell just about anyone who likes puzzles and kind of weird games to buy this game or at least try out the demo ...

Inverted Y Axis Review: The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom 0

ORIGINALLY POSTED AT INVERTED Y AXIS  P.B. Winterbottom is a man with a great appetite for pie. He's obsessed with it, it's all he thinks about, and it is always the object of all his pursuits. This time, Mr. Winterbottom's desire for pie has gotten him in a bit of trouble. The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom is the first game by a small development company called The Odd Gentlemen, and they introduce themselves to the world with a bang. They've brought us a simple, but incredibly entertai...

Baking all the delicious bits... 0

The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom looks and sounds like it should be a pretentious game that takes itself way too seriously. That couldn't be farther from the truth, as Winterbottom is a silly, lighthearted game about pies- plain and simple. The ensuing product is a clever puzzle game that fans of the genre will undoubtedly love, but those without a penchant for some serious brain teasers would be better served elsewhere. As mentioned, Winterbottom is a game about pies. You play as the titu...

    A misadventure, but not a misstep. 0

The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom has inevitably drawn comparisons to Braid, the indie darling otherwise known as Pretentious Metaphor-Fest. This isn't necessarily an unfair point, as both games feature mind-destroying out of the ordinary puzzles. P.B. Winterbottom is the story of the titular character, a dapper gentleman in a bowler and monocle. He is a pie thief by trade who, while chasing a giant monster pie, falls into a temporal rift that gives him the power to create clones of himself...

Don't be sluggish, you dandy. 0

The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom is an Xbox Live Arcade game developed by a new developer called The Odd Gentlemen.  Winterbottom is certainly an odd gentleman, and the game begins with him stealing an obscene amount of pies, and proceeding to muck up a whole list of things in the process.  Your progress through the game is measured both by repairing all the damage your selfish, pie-snatching habits have caused, as well as collecting, well... more pies.  Oh yeah, and Winterbottom can clone...

How much do you like pie? 1

Playing The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom made me ask myself some very serious questions about my love of pie. Exactly how much do I love it? Would I commit horrible crimes to feed my insatiable need for the scrumptious desserts? The answer, of course, is no. I’m not crazy. Well, at least not as crazy as the mischievous and pie obsessed P.B. Winterbottom from developer The Odd Gentlemen’s debut puzzler. The player takes control of the aforementioned Winterbottom in his quest to get his fing...

    Intelligent Game 1

Short and sweet but definitely worth the 5 bucks.First level of each world is like a tutorial but after that the level of difficulty increases. Contains some very smart puzzles (some reviewers said it was frustrating to them) but it was ok for me.It took me about 2 hours to finish the main game but the challenges can keep you busy for a long time (especially if your friends have the game too and you are competing with them for the leaderboards).WATCH OUT: For that kevin dude. He is first on most...

    This game is great 0

P.B. Winterbottom is an indie game made by The Odd Gentlemen. Its a time puzzle game I guess is the best way to describe it. Its an Xbox Live Arcade Game produced by 2K games.  I'm not sure how else to describe it. So here goes the review.  Game play- The game plays kinda like braid where you manipulate time to solve puzzles. The puzzles are tough they make you really use your brain. You make clones of yourself by recording using the right trigger. It sounds a bit odd but you would just have to ...
