I  require war-time Sims.

I just. I don't know. It's still The Sims, which always feels like a worthless time-sink.

I want to make me an adventurous dude. 

If I can't make my Sim into an evil tyrant, I'm not interested. Seriously. I should be able to oppress every other SIm in the land.

What the feck as happened to the Sims franchise? Changed so much, sadly not all for the better. The Sims needs Will Wright back.  
 
But then you'd probably get SimSpore. 

And this is where I realize that The Sims is no longer for me, and I finally realize I should stop buying the games.

Been playing Majesty lately and love it. I'll play a Sims version of that any day. Sounds awesome!

I wonder how far into the whole "quest/adventure" think they'll delve; I for some reason think of Dungeon Siege when I try to imagine how this might turn out.

That is kind of an interesting idea.  I find the Sims series pretty boring (a game dedicated to keeping people from pissing their pants?), but the medieval time may prove a lot more dramatic and interesting.

What a silly idea. May be fun though.

As an avid Dwarf Fortress fan, this actually sounds like it might be cool.

What a weird idea.  Haven't played The Sims since the second game.  May have to give this a try.

Anybody play Ghost Master? The Sims needs another ghost expansions pack that plays like a haunting sim a'la Ghost Master.

As someone who just spent my weekend at a Renaissance Festival, this seems pretty cool.
 
As someone who's only fun in The Sims comes from luring someone into a room and removing the door so I can watch them piss and shit themselves while they cry and die alone...I can see doing that in a castle.
