Level- 5 Inc have announced a new title called "Time Traveller". ( - provisional name). The title is led by Jiro Ishii, the man behind the awesome 428, a title that received 40/40 by Famitsu. The game will obviously revolve around time travel, and should become a point of departure for the studio. There are no details about which platform or indeed platforms it's due for, although I personally suspect in will be a 3DS title.

Ishii-san will be working closely with Level-5's CEO Akihiro Hino, as Hino-san states, "large scale game...that could become a popular series for Level-5." - "Centered on a system that's not yet in this world, it will expand to other systems. It will be this image."

    The platform was particularly interesting:
As for platform, Hino apparently said "Centered on a system that's not yet in this world, it will expand to other systems. It will be this image."

3DS? iPad? Something else? Unless it's a mistranslation.

I think he means 3DS, it's not just Nintendo that are embracing 3D screen technology, mobile phone makers in Japan are too.

Given that Level-5's more recent titles have been DS games, the 3DS seems like the likely platform.

Still mysterious, but it seems they are hyping it up.

edit: made a quick wiki page for it:

Thanks, you should have included (Working Title), but it's no big deal.

    I'll get this moved.

No page for Jiro Ishii also.

And check, someone will have to fill that one out in more detail though:  http://www.giantbomb.com/jiro-ishii/72-98006/

@hamz: I suppose you changed the title to traveller? It is the correct way to spell it but all the sites are listing it as traveler so could you perhaps add that title as an alias?

edit: so it is "Time Travelers"
