Yep, most the time it feels like it's running at 20-25 FPS, and it hitches and staggers fairly often. 
Really really hoping it's patched, because otherwise the game is awesome :\

It's pretty bad but playable. It actually reminds me of the first few months Diablo 2 was out in terms of the hitches and lag. Hopefully they will fix it. I started playing this morning at 9ish and here it is 1:30 and I just finally got out of my seat. I feel the D2 burn again.

i hadnt noticed when i played the demo, it probably doesnt get hectic enough or i didnt notice, im gonna try the phased room again and see how that goes, any ways its still an awesome game

I came in here expecting the OP to be running Windows 98 or something. Forgot Torchlight actually came out on the 360.

Yeah I just checked it out myself. It's not bad. The only thing I've noticed was the graphics were sub-par compared to the PC version. Which isn't a problem and pretty much expected.

I haven't had any problems with framerate or anything so far. Then again I don't think I even got around to demoing it and there was a patch out.

I didn't have too many problems when I played through it last week... It only slowed down every now and then.

It'll probably run better than it would on my computer so I guess this is the best option for me :P

If you can run it on the highest setting at what seems like it's above 60fps, will it be that diffetent? (ie are people exaggerating?)

I hate the mouse clicking and wanted the 1:1 controls, so I was looking forward to the 360 edition, but this sounds kinda crappy.

How the hell does this game have bad framerate when full-blown 3D games on the console don't?

I'm having screen tearing issues on the 360. But I think the game is totally compliant. Also, double achievements and an easy S-rank helped the sale

Maybe they'll patch the framerate issues. That seems like all the rage these days.

So there has been a patch released a few days ago and it has resolved MOST of the FPS issues, I got 2 or 3 really abd hiccups when there was a ton of spells going off though, also had the game lock up my xbox on me, sucked!
