Video Review - Total War: WARHAMMER II
Total War: WARHAMMER II doesn't seek to reinvent the wheel. Instead, Creative Assembly are content with streamlining the first game. The campaign is more robust with a less obtuse objective and a genuine sense of urgency pushing players along, the UI has been tweaked to be more accessible, and the hero units that once ran amok on the campaign map have been toned down. The multiplayer still feels a bit bare-bones compared to other Total War games but it still gets the job done. Each of the new factions feels different from one another and the armies of the previous game which helps the game feel fresh. It's not drastically different from its predecessor but it doesn't need to be. If you are even tangentially interested in strategy games, Total War: WARHAMMER II will gladly devour your free time if you let it. For more information, check out the VIDEO REVIEW.
