I can barely complete the level right now, and it's going to take a bit to get a gold on it. I have beaten Inferno 2 without any faults, but that was after a long period of time.

People had a lot of time to get really good at Trials HD.
This is pretty much the answer. The physics and gameplay haven't changed at all since the last game. This is just a game with new levels, new features, and some amazing content creation and sharing tools.
It's like how people can be so good at the newest Street Fighter game. Because the gameplay is pretty much always the same thing.
I've golded everything up to cutting edge. From then on my times and medals look pretty bad
EDIT:
@SpaceInsomniac That makes sense, I just don't know why I'm performing badly when I was able to beat levels (even Inferno 2) without a hitch on Trials HD when I was playing it last week! Probably just something in my head.

Another reason is you're good to the point that you could beat the Trials HD levels after lots of practice, but you're just starting out with the Trials Evolution content, which is about just as hard in the end.
Meanwhile, for those who developed their skills to play insanely difficult user-made levels, anything in Trials Evolution is going to feel like easy mode.
So that's why you have people who are perfecting the hardest Trials Evolution levels, less than 48 hours after the game has been released.

Dude, i can not believe most of the stuff ppl do in those Ninja Tracks.
Btw, they took out the "Standing on your helmet", from the game.
Maybe they can put that back in with the Pro Editor, cos without it, some of the stuff they do would be impossible.
By watching videos like this, i always feel like just throwing the controller and forget the game exists. I'll never get that good at this game. Now i'm going to cry, alone.
I know somebody who's top 30 in the world right now and he's been playing almost non-stop since the game came out, completing extreme tracks without mistakes and everything. He also never stopped playing Trials HD.
That's how they do it.
The same guy also has every weapon achievement in Ninja Gaiden 2. So, yeah...
Some of the custom maps coming out by people are starting to get much more difficult than the extreme tracks now lol. I've got a couple platinum on the extreme tracks and got platinum's on all the original trials extreme maps. But how ridiculously precise you have to be on a some of the custom maps and the difficulty between check points are insane. It took me over 250 faults and 25minutes to complete someones track. And it was designed well, there were no times I felt the track design was cheap and relied on luck. It was just fucking hard compared single player maps.

I can't even get Platinums on the begginer tracks...
I got one in Trials HD, on a Medium Track, but that was probably luck.
I can't believe how good some ppl are at this game.
Seriously, it's insane!!!
And i didn't even see a Ninja User Track, once those start rolling out...
Well, i just don't want anything to do with that...
This is why I think that when you get a high score in a video game it should include a picture of what you look like in real life.
