Just a quick update for you duders. Just pushed out some new trivia code that'll let you easily compare your rank w/ your friends on the site. Also added some styling to make the number 1 ranked person's icon BIGGER -- just so that everybody knows that mnB is a complete trivia bad-ass!

Moderation system could use some looking over. At the moment it's ripe for abuse, as a group of trolls can easily downvote a question out of existence, even if it's perfectly legit. Problem is, that unlike the forums, the question is not hidden, it's completely deleted forever. I know I've seen some of my perfectly legit questions just vanish. Maybe pop trivia questions into a moderation queue or something? Bodega would certainly approve :P

Anyways, that gripe aside the new stuff is pretty cool.

I agree with Lies on moderation. People can downvote legitimate questions simply because of difficulty or whatever other selfish reason they can come up with. It is good to see this feature constantly improving though.

Cool. I also kind of want easy access to how they did on my trivia questions. The way it is right now I check the results of my questions to see if they got it right, and then I search through their stats page to find out what their answer was. It's a bit of a hassle.

Giant Bomb just gets better and better with each update, just imagine what this site will be like in a year... 2 years... pure awesomeness.

Great update coonce! Competition between friends in always great, perhaps you could do a similar friends leaderboard for points, and maybe mod points too? Just a thought.
And I agree with both Lies and LordAndrew on ther ideas.

Did anyone get their own trivia questions? That could be a problem because if you answer it right it increases your score, but lowers the "hardness" score of the question (and vice versa for answering it wrong)

^ I'm pretty sure about everyone answers their own question. In fact, it's inevitable if you go through the straight lineup.

I'd appreciate a way to vote down questions that you answered a long time ago. I bring this up because answered a question yesterday and got it wrong, and when I saw what was marked as the right answer I thought, 'No, that can't be right,' but nonetheless I just kept on taking the quiz. I actually booted up the game the question was asking about today to verify the answer, and turns out that the question was wrong, but now I have no way to vote it down. I know there's an option to vote down the question you just answered, but as far as I know there is no way to select a question from your personal stats page and flag it as incorrect. It's not really that big a deal, but I figured I'd mention it.

Also, the Best Subject part of the stats always seems to be completely wrong. Right now it says my best subject is Animal Crossing, which I answered two questions for, only one of which I got right. However, there are numerous other subjects that I answered 4 or 5 questions for and got 100% right, yet they're not listed as my best subject.

Other than those two things, the trivia feature is coming along great. Can't wait to see the next update. Keep up the good work!
