Dating back 5,000 years, this game of skill and chance has featured in many video games.
A series of two-player pencil-and-paper games where players take turns calling shots on their enemy's concealed fleet of ships on a grid. While it is known by many names, it is best known for the Milton Bradley board game version known as Battleship.
Also known as "draughts", checkers is a group of board games involving making diagonal moves on uniformed game pieces on a checkerboard. While different variants of the game exist, the term is commonly used to describe the "American straight checkers" (or "English draughts") variant.
One of the world's oldest board games, using eight pawns, two rooks, two knights, two bishops, a queen and king.
A series of board games using special rectangular "domino" tiles, in which players must add matching tiles from their hand to an ever-expanding layout on the table. The term is commonly used for either the "Block", "Draw", or "Muggins" variants.
A feature in Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo 3DS games allowing linked multiplayer with only one cartridge.
A series of two-player board games where players take turns stacking a piece on one of several chutes, attempting to connect a chain of four pieces in any direction. While it is known by other names and existed since the early 20th century, it is best known for the Milton Bradley version known as Connect Four.
A matching pieces puzzle game played with Mahjong tiles. Two matching tiles are removed on each move with the overall goal being to remove every tile without blocking yourself off.
Options menus give you the option to change anything the game lets you change. Whether you want subtitles or not, sound effects or not, the game to be harder or not, anything you want that the game lets you change, you can change in the options menu.
Also known as Othello, this strategic board game uses round pieces with a different color on either side. When pieces of one color form a straight line between two pieces of the other color, the middle pieces are flipped over.
