The newly released uncharted 3 gameplay video shows Nathan in the desert village level. The gameplay looks like more of the same  goodness but it still looks fantastic. Check it out below.

Holy shit! That looks amazing! I loved Drakes Fortune, and I thought the sequel was great; it was improved in every aspect except for shooting guys, or at least that's what my minority viewpoint is, but this game looks amazing. Wow. I'm actually kind of astonished.

This looks great!!! It'a a shame my Uni's internet doesn't work for my ps3, but at least i'm gonna be able to play another excellent single player game.

Saying the obvious here, but man I cannot wait for Uncharted 3. Adored Among Thieves for what it did so well. Looks stunning.

Oh god, the framerate, it's just too smooth (it looks like it's 50+ FPS)... These guys don't know just how to work the Cell, they know how to make love to it...

I always liked how easy and effective melee was in the Uncharted series and it looks like it works well in the new game. Seeing Drake swing the butt of the AK at the merc was cool and I hope there's more variety of melee moves like that.

That is some smooth as shit framerate going on there. I don't think even Uncharted 2 ran that silky.

Yeah Uncharted ran at a pretty solid 30 frames, I believe. This is well above that.

I heard them say they redid the melee in this game. I think you can fight multiple people at the same time now.

Imagine how brown it'll be with the Next-Gen filter on. Also, dat animation!

@PrivateIronTFU: I won't believe it until I see it running like that for myself. All the other videos I've seen before had the game running at the standard 30. If it really runs that smooth then holy shit, they conquered the PS3 hardware and made it their bitch.

Pretty game, fun combat.
 
Though it bothered me how obvious it was that the player had practiced that part several times, some of his grenades were psychic looking.
