Can't believe I've ignored UT3 for this long.  I downloaded it from Steam today and have been playing it all day, I love it!  I also gifted it to my brother's steam account for when he finishes building his computer.  He just played some free for all here and went 50 and 15, hilarious.  Why is this game never talked about!?

Because UT has been around for so long, and UT3 did nothing different other than honestly turn out to be a far worse game than UT2k4 was. Most people though don't care for the type of game in general just because its kind of an old school style of play that people aren't used to now.

i thought 3 was awsome and over looked so much   i. but it is bad on ps3 through a SD tv lol on HD its a good game

From my impression based on the game, the time it came out, and listening to someone on the 1-Up Yours Podcast back in the day, the game suffered from three problems; Came out at a bad time, most FPS fans have moved on to more "Class" based games, such as Battlefield 2, Team Fortress 2 (If it was out at the time, just giving examples though), and the hardware requirements where pretty rough.

Personally I love the Unreal Tournament seris and quite enjoy 3, but I've waited so long to get it due to lack of decent enough hardware and being happy enough with the bots in 2004.

Unfortunately, after this free weekend is over, it will be back to nobody playing it. I've owned it for a long time.
