Cannot wait for this, Revamping the classic wow zones is the best thing they could have done for a new expansion.

i vowed never to play this game again, but this trailer gives me everything i wanted to happen to that game!

I really hope it's the end of Azeroth... not because I hate the game, but that would be a badass way to end WoW. They could just show a cinema of Azeroth being destroyed completely, but clearly they wouldn't shut the servers down or whatever... so IDK how it would work.

I wonder how Blizzard will deal with new players coming into the game as this expansion hits, will they miss the old way Azeroth is in favor of the Cataclysm "re-modeling" of those areas?

I dont think this is bad (i like the slight graphical improvements), BUT its not good neither. Not good enough. Just finally shows Blizzards 180 degree turn in design policy wide open -- I mean Desolace gets made into Ashenvale, The Barrens into some sort of Searing Gorge. Come on. Laser Paladins from outerspace, etc. Can they break this games appeal any more? I liked it when it was about Horde (shamanistic, tribal) Vs Alliance (medieval, knights). Now its something different, something ugly i dont recognize -- Their creative talent all went to other studios or were assigned on other projects, this is just money milking.
 
Those that are addicted will stay and grind it out, those that got over it will keep away.

Its no where near the end unfortunately. They intend to keep releasing expansions until level 100. It will probably end with the Burning Legion and Sargeras. Besides lol at ending the never ending cash cow.

I have never played WoW so idk what those changes mean, but I bet some people out there are stoked. I used to look at the game and be interested in it, but it really isn't all that appealing to the eye even with the changes they were showing on the screen. But hey, if you're stoked about it, then rock'n'roll yo!

it seems people are split in half, either you haven't played in a while and totally think this is awesome, or you think this is God damn awful.

Currently play the game and been playing the Warcraft series for a looooong time.  Bringing back an old foe is pretty sweet.  Tearing up the place so the old world finally has a reason worth going back to is great.  Might make rolling a new character worth grinding all over.  Things for both players, new and old.  The graphics may not be like Aion's but I guess I personallty wouldn't want it to be super high rez, you need a quad core processor with 6 gigs of Ram, blah blah blah.   WoW isn't really about the graphics, but the artistic touch to it.

I spent a crap load of time inside the barrens, so seeing it all torn up will be interesting. Judging from some of the other comments, I agree it's a hit or miss. Either folks will like what they see, or there won't be anything for the other fans to come back for.

got a 80 hunter, bought a month so i could try to find the "new spirit pet" didnt, + checked out uldar / new content... spose ive only been playing wow for 1.5 years but it feels old and im tired of it,  been playing aion beta and thats what im probably going to stick with

Ahh... tough to say if I'll be going back or not for this xpac... More than likely yes for a few months and then not playing again until the next xpac >.> Definitely want to play the Worgen stuff and see what happened to Gilneas, though I could care less about the Goblins (now you, too, can sound like an annoying goblin merchant all the time! Yay, I guess?). 

I think the thing that bugs me the most, is that they took my favourite zones and eff'd em up...why not take winterspring or the swamp of sorrows and the mess those up instead...the only thing that can make me ok with this is if elwynn is ok, but i might as well face it, it's not ok at all.
 
Doesnt matter though, the people really really into WoW dont even care about zones...well that's what i have always gathered at least.
 
The brand new zones look cool though, and Outland and Northrend arent effected as far as im aware, so, not all is lost, but damn man, im going to miss this shit! and the old quests!

I don't play WoW but this trailer was pretty epic IMO and I dig the new Alliance race...sooo I'm considering playing it now that some sweet stuff is comin.
