Why . . . why does this exist.

I didn't really think about this till now but I guess Sean Bean isn't going to be 006 either. This game is so weird.

So are they doin the Half Life allways-first-person thing?
Cos that might be a pretty good idea for a James Bond game.

It looks really good. Maybe the first FPS game on the Wii I actually like. Everyone moaning about the graphics are forgetting one thing it's on the Wii FFS !!

It's ok for the Wii, I guess.

I feel like this is going to take on the aura of Modern Warfare 2 in the way that it will be absolutely impossible to take any sort of middle ground on this game. I guess it doesn't help that the advertising is banking huge on "remember that game you played on the N64?". Not to mention cutting Pierce Brosnan's Bond out of GoldenEye.

I hate the fact that thousands of people will be tricked into buying this product :(

Seriously. Renaming it Golden Eye of the Phoenix or something like that would have been enough to make me more excited about this game. To simply brand this Goldeneye is nothing but an insult to the N64 game in my book.

Looks fine enough for me for a Wii game. I finished the N64 GoldenEye with everything achieved (after some long tense hours of replaying some of the levels over and over again). So I wonder how hard the game will be, if there's any extra's to win, are the many (sometimes) ridiculous "cheats" available and if the story holds up.. I will try it for sure.

Your game sucks.

Tough to get nostalgic when Goldeneye plays like Call of Duty.

Not a single goddamn person in here seems to be judging this on its own merits. It's either "This isn't Goldeneye so it will fucking suck" or it's a play on nostalgia that has no right to exist, when the devs clearly gone out of their way to make it clear they totally reimagined it. I think it looks alright and it will probably be (one of) the best Wii FPS games. Stop being mad at this game for no reason or at least give it a chance before totally dismissing it. That'd be alright if it actually looked like a terrible game, but it doesn't.

Looks awesome. Can't wait to see more.

At some point why even call it Goldeneye?

The game looks great on a technical level, but I hate that they're raping one of my N64 favourites.

Looks like it has potential... too bad it is only one the Wii. MW clone or not, I'd totally play this on an HD console.

If only it wasn't on the Wii... I really don't want to dust that thing off. 

What sucks is that there won't be a demo. I'm having trouble telling if I want this or not. Sometimes I believe it's a nice reimagining and other times I have trouble telling if it's only Bond in name.

This game continues to look like a waste of everyone's time.

It seems to me that they are using the Goldeneye name as a brand for a bond shooter rather than trying to remake the original game for a cash grab.  This is Activision we are talking about after all.
 
Seeing as how this looks to be first person only Half-Life style I'm hoping that Bloodstone will be more of a third person action shooter kind of like Mass Effect 2. 

Oh its a wii game... well that explains alot.

I'm undecided still. I get that it's the Goldeneye name and closely tied to the original story, with an upgraded bond. But how much of this is looks lifted straight out of the old game? Like level design, it looks like they are just rebuilding the old levels with more modern architecture. I'm fine with that, I just don't know if the game will be any good. 
 
If the MP is going to be anything like MW2 I won't really be interested. Also, if they're not remaking the original game, why are most of the local Multiplayer modifiers returning? Like paintball mode. lol Clearly they don't know what they are doing at the studio.

Wait a minute, Daniel fucking Craig? No.

By making a shooter on the wii they have doomed themselves...
 
Also they tried this already, Goldeneye rogue  agent in 2004 and guess what, it failed. 

I'm alternately excited and horrified by this game. On one hand it doesn't LOOK like they're half-assing it, but on the other hand...Wii...Bond...FPS. God I hope it's all right.

Did I see a level from Rogue Agent?

Reviews will determine the fate of this game, but so far, it's not looking good
