Love atmosphere-centric games, hope they nail it.

Also, needs a motocross bike secret/unlockable.

We need more stuff like this, as a nation, to get us enthusiastic about space again. I mean, fucking government slashes more NASA funding, retires the Space Shuttle fleet - and yeah, perhaps they were spending too much money doing things. But we should fucking have a colony on the moon by now, and solar farms! Yet, if anything, our country has gotten dumber. Tea party idiots and creationists are at least getting louder. Makes it seem like there are more of them. We need things to remind us of how awesome technology and space is. We can't depend entirely on SpaceX and their awesome Dragon capsule. Okay, done with my rant now :)

Super, super happy to see this. I heard of it, then forgot about it - so I'm relieved to see their Kickstarter was successful!

Seems to have the spirit of an old-school, 90's, "Multimedia CD-Rom" adventure game. But y'know...with actual gameplay instead of just pointing and clicking around lovely static screens, like in Myst or Journeyman Project. Seems really intriguing.

Maybe there are a few years of acceleration and deceleration?

I'm definitely intrigued. I'd love to go on a space Journey.

I got in on the Kickstarter. Plenty of potential but they still have to prove themselves to me. Too many mysteries end up as stupid plot twists, so hopefully they can abstain from those.

Fake russian on the book is a bit of a bummer, but I hope they'll give more attention to details. This does look like early footage but it also looks interesting and a little bit like Colobot. No programming in this probably though.

Looks like an exploration heavy game. Exactly my kind of thing when done right (sadly it rarely is...). Will keep a hopeful eye on this.

Depending on the direction they go with this, it could be an amazing game. I love games like Journey and the post-apocalyptic stuff (ala Fallout and Rage and even I am Alive) so this fits many of those stereotypes. Doesn't seem to be a combat game, rather an exploration type.

Light year is a unit of distance. She is just saying that the journey will take 15 years.

Yeah, but at twice the speed of light, you'd travel 30 light years in 15 years. In the description it says the planet is 20 light years away.

Not that travel at any velocity faster than the speed of light is physically possible, anyway.

What would moon colonies accomplish?

While I do support Nasa funding - people don't realize that sending people into space costs a ton of money and accomplishes absolutely nothing, scientifically.

We need to send more probes to other planets and moons to learn even more about them.
