E3 2016: Join the Dawn of DedSec in Watch Dogs 2

This actually looks great! Love the tone.

Maybe I will play more than first 30 minutes of this.

n.e.r.d is still a threat.

1) Ubisoft still makes the best trailers in the business

2) The protagonists look like terrible people

3) Cover-based laptopping

Putting these 3 points together, I hope Ubisoft is in on the joke and takes this to Saints Row levels of ridiculousness. The guy on a scooter is a good start.

Are there a lot of people in lycra suits with inflatable rings around them in San Fran?

I guess if Watch Dogs was the "freshman fifteen," this could be the "sophomore started going to the gym and got your shit in shape"?

(Unlike my experience, which was the "freshman negative fifty" followed by the "rest of college gaining it all back.")

I hope it's gonna be an Assassin's Creed sorta deal, where the first one was super bland, but the sequel is amazing.

Also, I bet the dude with the spike vest and the mask is going to end up being the final boss. The one hacker who arrogant and Marcus ends up having to counter-hack him.

I have nothing but positive things to say about the SF Bay Area and recommend people visit that place but all that hyperinflation or whatever you call that stuff makes it difficult to continue to like that place.

Oh, sorry, previous commentator makes good point Ubisoft does make good trailers. They nailed that attitude part. It seems like it can be a really interesting game.

Looks great and I'll definitely get it as the first one was alright. Was pretty damn cringey though when they cheer at getting 1m followers.

Here's hoping this turns out to be the AC2 of the Watch_Dogs franchise.

I am cautiously optimistic about this game. Hoping for an evolution like what happened in AC to AC2 but no amount of bonus DLC, golden guns, golden cue balls, golden drones is going to get me to pre order an ubisoft game.

Seems silly to make another trailer that makes the game look incredible visually... remember when that happened last time. This changes nothing the game can still suck.

At 00:37, that's not how you use a soldering iron.

God, I hoped Ubi would realize half of the problem with Watch_Dogs was that it was out of touch as hell - but having a dude touch an iron to a pcb isn't enough. It's the same as having some one just mash at their keyboard to give a visual for "hacking." I want to love you Watch_Dogs, but you make so many small mistakes that it's hard.

Glad they're changing up the try-hard-grim-dark tone of the original for something a little more upbeat. The best part of the first game was definitely the multiplayer, can't wait to see how they update it for the sequel.

Also, I really hope Aiden Pearce is a guest character in this game so I can punch him in the face.

What's the opposite of a sophomore slump?

I'd want to avoid giving them props for that. Any other publisher, sure. That's a feat. Ubisoft is known for shipping a first game that is a total shell of a game and like a really expensive proof of concept for some systems and mechanics. Then they make a part two that's actually those mechanics mixed with the trappings of a modern game.

They avoid the slump because the first game is like an Early Access title that's been mislabeled and sold for $60. Don't give em props for that ;-). Still waiting for more than 4 of 26 missions in The Division to be playable on all difficulty settings.

Looks like it's trying to take advantage of the popularity of Mr. Robot. It might be good, but that trailer definitely looks 10 times better than the actual game will look.

Now this....is interesting to me. Might give it a shot.
