E3 2016: Make Sense of Kingdom Hearts HD II.8

Having played almost all of the games (I, II, Birth by Sleep, 358/2 Days, Chain of Memories, 3D), I disagree. It's a convoluted story told in an incredibly stupid way. And the anime angle doesn't work for me either. Within the last two months I watched all of Mirai Nikki, Kaiba, GitS SAC, Paranoia Agent and a few more straightforward ones.

The story and its presentation is just bad. Still excited for Kingdom Hearts 3, though.

Although I could never get into DDD with all its timed crap, I did like Birth By Sleep and I'm interested in back cover. The last two collections were well done so I will pick this up. I would love to see PS4 versions of 1.5 and 2.5

I wont pretend to understand whats really going on in the story, but I do enjoy it.

Every Kingdom Hearts story is better than Mirai Nikki. I agree the stories are convoluted, but they aren't bad really. They are just told in a confusing way and most of the confusion comes from each game being a year or more removed from the last. The stories themselves make perfect sense and aren't horrible. They are just told weird and are pretty standard anime fair for the most part.

Man the first game I remember being pretty cool. The story was nonsense but seeing the Disney stuff mixed with Final Fantasy was neat and it was a fun little action RPG. I got two when it came out and the gameplay was fine iirc but holy fuck what a nightmare of a story line cringey anime garbage bullshit.

I haven't touched another one, not that'd I know where to even start but I'll probably check out three depending on how in the mood I am for an action RPG and maybe just listen to podcasts and ignore whatever writing they put in it. Or maybe I'll just wait for Kingdom Hearts 3 Remix II.3/999 HD+ Collection

Getting to that point where I'd rather just watch all the cutscenes before 3 comes out instead of trying to play them. That last game seemed kind of interesting though.
