E3 2016: No Disinterested Translator Required in Gran Turismo Sport

Man... i wish car games were better. It's like they progressively got better in graphics in every way, but handling and realism took a back seat.

Totally not the case with Forza 6

Super excited. Probably the game I'm most looking forward to in 2016.

I had to say something positive before the comments become overwhelmingly negative.

@sharkman: Oh it's still out there, but the quest for it leads into a deep dark abyss called IRacing.

Which is where a 95% of people very quickly realize that they didn't actually care about handling or realism as much as they thought and some HD car porn will do just fine.

Ehhh, just gotta know where to look, not much on the consoles I'll grant but a lot of good stuff on the PC these days. Dirt Rally was great for example.

I'm convinced that this isnt the way it sounds IRL.

As much as I love Forza 6 (I love Forza 6), it really did feel like it was at the limit for what you can do for realism and still be playable with a dual stick controller. Given what I saw of Horizons 3 at E3 though, I might be in luck for Forza 7 being a full PC release w/ wheel support, which would be awesome.

I wish they would just remake Gran Turismo 3 with modern graphics and physics, changing nothing else. That was really a high point for the series.

Gran Turismo stands on its own in its own world. It doesnt pay much attention to what other racing franchises are doing. Its a strange kind of a game, game play wise there are much better simulators than GT but i like how GT plays and feels. Its kind of an experience that other games are not achieveing as a whole package.

Stll deciding tho, GT7 will probably arrive early next year. i was never into the prologue series. Saying that leaves me wondering about dreaded "standard" cars in GT7 while sport has less quantity but all models are "premium".

A Demo for sport would be real nice, very soon.
