E3 2016: Take a Tour of Altissia, Final Fantasy XV's City Upon the Water

This game is so promising, it will be a big letdown if it doesn't turn out fun.

So, Italy.

Every new trailer bounces me back and forth between 'This is terrible' and 'This is Amazing'

I hope it turns out alright.

Well, it looks very nice if nothing else.

That said, I have yet to see anything that excites me about this game. All the previews just show little bits of mini-games and side-activities with little indication of how any of it fits together or plays as a coherent whole.

And based on the demo and what little of combat they've actually shown (and shown recently - I'm not putting any stock in years old footage), I don't think that's what they want to hang their hat on, unless the systems are getting completely overhauled between now and release.

This was cooler than the flying car!

Apparently I am on the same page as many others here: very conflicted about this game. While still not exactly the FF I want, it's closer than anything has been in ages. It's definitely not a day one purchase for me, will wait to see/hear more.

I am a sucker for good RPG 'downtime'. Just hope they make all this traipsing around feel worthwhile. Looks real pretty anyhow...

What a weird mix of Venetian canals and Roman architecture, I personally don't like the look of this place at all...

And the only RPG element we really saw was a Witcher style contract/hunt taken up, hmmm - still, I'd love this FF to be the good one people want.

Damn, the trailer ended before they got to the Blitzball stadium.

Awesome visuals.

That's one pretty vidya game.

Was waiting for the car to be a boat.
