Let's say you were right, 100%. I don't think you are, but there may be a kernel of truth to it. However, let's say that is the entire reason for his company and games to exist. I would say that is a good reason to exist when you look at sequel-itis in the west and very importantly, the flaccid japanese performance in gaming recently. If you want brown modern military shooters, well don't worry, you got plenty of them, from EVERYONE. If you want something colorful and weird and far from the established marketing and focus group tested conventions, suda 51 exists for you, because not a whole hell of a lot else does. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy batman or uncharted. Clover and now platinum games I think covers a similar bit of ground, a bit less crazy but with the same vibrancy that grasshopper shows.

If Shadows of the Damned didn't sell, how the capital Fuck is this game going to get the time of day? Will there be a marketing campaign? Won't it scare people off even more? Looks amazing, but this is basically a guaranteed flop.
