That's just what I was thinking. I've seen Kotaku's and Gamespot's version, which is why this bums me out that I don't get to see Jeff on vocals...As an avatar. Though, I'd also have to imagine Brad on lead, Vinny on drums and Ryan on bass. In that order, no exceptions. Snide and Drew are the roadies, but you wouldn't see them anyway. And if you're thinking "Hey, this guy must have no life to think all of this up", then you are sadly correct!

They definitely don't fit in as well as the normal characters, but I think some people are missing the point.  Avatars are basically like Mii's.  Some people have spent a lot of time, and dare I say, money on tweaking their avatars.  It's much easier to feel attached to them, then it is with some random persona you spend 2 minutes making in Guitar Hero or Rock Band or whatever.

Yes, it looks silly but it makes it a little more fun, in my opinion.
Here's hoping ODST has a mode where we can use them in firefight!  again, they'd be so out of place but it would be fun.

No thank you. Seriously. I don't see the value of this feature. Maybe once the cool ODST armor and stuff comes in this will have some merit but I don't want to see some psuedo-looking version of me playing this game.
