I agree. I thought this time you got to choose to play as a woman if you want since they revealed her a while back but then I read that you just play as her for small portions of the game you cannot choose. Creating your own character of your own race and gender like Dragon Age is more my thing. But I understand that they want to focus on Geralt.

I love the last part, in the open world of witcher you can see boobies, play cards, see different boobies, hunt and see more boobies.

The voice-over copy for this trailer was so cringe-inducingly bad I had to turn it off halfway through,

Surprised people are so enthused by this. As soon as it got to the romancing stuff and mentioning horse racing minigames as though they're a selling point I had the sinking, crushing feeling of open world drudgery. Is there anything to suggest this isnt an entirely rote open world experience.

And it will only cost you 2500 usd to run it at a acceptable framerate that does not ruin the experience.

Tottaly agree! i was so stoked when i found out Ciri was gonna be in this game. I loved her in the books.

Oh my God, this voice over really kills the trailer. If they'd just let it speak for itself it would have been 100x better.

However, this game looks so fucking cool and I'm ridiculously excited.

Serious question. I played a couple of hours of The Witcher II (Never played one) and thought the combat just awful but the world, characters and design are all incredible...do I just need to keep going and get used to it, or is one of those games that if you don't like it, you're just not going to?

@basketsnake: Yep totally so generic. I'm one of few who can speak polish. Even though English comes more naturally to me I played the second game with polish VO and cant stand Geralts eng voice.

This woman's voice is hilarious mixed with the random bits of dialogue. They should have gotten Shadow of Mordor trailer guy.

Not to mention more often than not, 'racism' in The Witcher universe results in things much worse then religious fanaticism or war crimes. Its an awkward line in the trailer but I can see why they said it like that. It is a little confusing if you don't have the context.

Everything in this game looks original...outposts,mini games,hunting quests....

The woman narrator sounds like she should be doing VO for a tool and die company's corporate marketing video. Gibes a bit with the tits, 'sexy' blood rituals and blue dialogue.

I love RPG's, but I also love making my own character / build. I feel like crafting your own character is integral to playing though a 100hr+ game. You feel like you're building something over time. I just can't stand Gerald as a character, he's flatter then a wood elf.

Looking forward to it still, but man, this trailer is sorta blah. Im really starting to wonder if they bit off more then they can chew. Also... racism as a selling point is ridiculous.

I dont know, it just seems like too much, and usually that means they spread there resources to thin. I hope im wrong but i guess i just wonder if it will be a lot of filler that wont really matter.

May 19th? Shit that's soon. Never played a Witcher game, but I've heard a lot of people saying that this game could be Skyrim 2.0, so if that's true I'm sold.
