Brad is so frustrating to watch. He barely notices peripheral people on the radar, always over-thinks actions and always just seems to miss obvious cues.

Exactly. The discussion at the end of this episode was just nonsense. Both failed the mission so nobody won.

This was just amazing, definitely the best entry in the Hitman series. Vinny should be on every one of these.

Also, I think it needs a winner every time, even when both parties fail to complete the mission and am with Dan on the whole "panache and style" thing. His try was just way more fun to watch.

You guys should bring back the timer. It is a part of the final score component in the game. I think it adds a layer of invisible pressure.

I really hope they unlock these missions at the end of the year for multiple attempts.

They both failed so they both lost. Dan trying to argue that style is more important and then saying that actually killing the target doesn't count is ridiculous. Also, Dan would win style every time because his playstyle is a lot more reckless than Brad so that isn't fair. Where is Jeff when we need him?

It's funny how Dan was arguing that he should still win even though Brad managed to kill the target. In the Busey episode, Dan argued just the opposite. After he killed Busey but then failed to escape, he said he should win by default if Brad didn't kill the target.

Brad got caught cause he took too long to hit the guard on the head with the bust. The distraction of the generator, is meant to attack the guard who comes to look at it. Otherwise dude just turns it back on and walks back, which is exactly what happened. It's the same as turning on radios, or overflowing taps.

Dan was simply playing too reckless, and Vinny was a great bad influence. They really thought that the sheik's disguise could get them literally anywhere and they went to the one place in the map where no disguise really works at all.

Seeing Vinny be to Dan what Dan is to Brad is pretty great.

Vinny, Dan and the Sheikh had me in stitches... utterly brilliant.

You guys should vote for Vinny instead of Trump or Hillary IMO .

god man, i mean, less 'talking about who won' and more playing hitman. if dan would spend the time he does arguing that he won actually PLAYING hitman, maybe he'd win more. clean and simple, who gets the objective wins. if they don't both lose. if they both win, they fuckin sure, let's talk, but come one, too much 'science' when they don't even grasp ALL the basic mechanics yet. just sayin

Seems like you could easily make this objective based in who wins.

1: How many objectives did they complete?

2: Did they survive and complete the mission?

Then assuming the above are tied either:

3a: Efficiency (Stealth, non-target casulties, etc)

3b: Entertainment value (Basically just public vote)

Still seems obvious whoever accomplishes the most objectives should always trump "style" in the end

I like how "Shed Scene" becomes a strategy here.

This one was a bit tough; I managed to kill the target, but couldn't get the egg. I love the elusive targets, though.

Both win. That Sheikh stuff was amazing.

I like that Vinny has quickly moved into troll mode for this feature to "help" Dan out during his hit attempts, much like he helped Brad during the Demon's Souls Breaking Bad series.

I haven't actually played this new Hitman, but I've heard from a couple people online that you can restart the Elusive Targets if you don't complete any of the objectives. Is that true? I know it's against the spirit, just curious. Seems like the first one you couldn't restart and then they added that option afterward?

Brad got farther into the objective but yeah Dan as the Sheikh was pretty awesome. Hard to determine who wins, I would say tie.

For the next time I'd say if neither complete the mission then nobody wins.

But fuck it, just give Dan the win anyway for the Sheikh hijinks.

@alavapenguin: There was nothing 'quick' about that, good sir.

@thelagermeister: you can restart/replan. I don't remember if that was added or if people were just afraid to try it. So it is possible to just observe what is happening with a target and then begin the mission over. Although you still have to be careful no to be seen. You also have to be careful in what you assume because the elusive targets will change paths.

Once an objective is done then you can't restart. And obviously you only get one death.

Can't wait for more. And this is really an even playing field, because neither Dan nor Brad seems to know what the minimap is. Watching them stumble into rooms filled with angry guards or not realize that a guard has been alerted and is racing them around the corner is both infuriating and hilarious.

Before I whine too much like Dan when he loses... I love this series and really hope they keep it up... even maybe adding some 'User Challenges' perhaps?

However, this episode was nowhere near as good as 'Kill Busey'. Don't get me wrong, still fun to watch - but the point of this game (and these particular Elusive Target Missions) is to meet the objectives and get satisfaction out of doing so on-the-fly.

The game makes the Objectives clear - those are the rules... its OK if nobody wins... but at least learn the maps a LITTLE more (Come on Brad... Lvl 5 in Paris?) and if both parties fail... NOBODY WINS.

One thing I will say... I hope Dan realizes he's actually really bad at Hitman games, admits he taught Brad nothing and tries to step up his game.

Jason can't be watching Dan's run the next time if he's going to be Brads "coach".

This is an incredibly impressive production, dual streams that toss to eachother, two video feeds on the bottom across the country with main gameplay on top. LOVED THIS.

I love how the game makes fun of the fact that just wearing some guy's clothes is a good enough disguise.

Dan gets mad about Jason giving Brad the most mild of hints after 40 minutes of Vinny giving Dan tons of hints and suggestions is the worst thing about this. Come up with some concrete rules on proper etiquette and how to actually determine a winner to cut down on Dan's whining.

This is great otherwise.

Why don't they look at the minimap? All the info on where suspicious people are and when they are coming is right there. Half of their alerts/deaths in this series could easily be avoided if they just looked at the map.

Forgive my ignorance, but I've been away from Giant Bomb for a few weeks. Would someone please inform me about Dan's being part of the GBeast side of this 'cast? Did he go out east to fill in the gap left by Austin's departure or something?

The way that Dan manipulates the rules in these competitions kinda gets under my skin. I am so happy I don't ever have to compete with him in video games. Seems like the kind of guy who would weasel his way into winning a thing when he clearly lost.

Also, Brad was super close to resetting the whole situation after the hit. Instead of going outside and trying to get the guy down, all he had to do was open the door and throw a coin, the guard would have investigated in the shed and make himself an easy target for a disguise swap. He could even dump the body afterwards.

@zzombie13 The word is that Dan went over to the East to fill Austin's spot for about a month. Could be longer, could be less, depending on them filling the spot? That part I don't know about.
