I feel Vinny's stories about the limited number of toys available as a child (along with his number of brothers) explains a whole damn lot about how he approaches open world games. In the best way possible.

EDIT - Also I love how obviously Sleeping Dogs has trained Vinny to get in a car on the right side. Even when he catches himself he still takes a step or two over there.

Open World expert Vinny Caravella on the case! *salute*

This video was utterly brilliant, as only a VinCo(TM) brand open world game Quick Look can be. The Hobo superman punch, and Vinny's inspired solution to Chop's libido - it never even occurred to me while I was playing - rank among some of my favourite Giant Bomb moments. And yet, it has brought me great sadness.

I committed that classical error of the thinking people of the Internet: I looked unto the void of the YouTube commentariat, and it looked back it me. Christ Fucking Almighty, it stared. We are talking some high-grade, rage-inducing, utter bullshit here. Seriously, I honestly cannot think of another occasion on which Internet commenter crud has incensed me to such a degree, and I've been roaming these putrid halls for far, far too long.

They insulted Vinny.

Vinny C, never not trying to break every video game he plays. I wonder if he plays like this in his alone time or if he plays this up for the bombers watching.

This game has so many weird failstates. I feel like that is detracting from the fun. I'm with Jeff that I'm not sure open world is the best thing for this franchise's story. After all, they are trying to control how you play the story anyway. You can't do it the way you want to do it.

That was exactly what I was expecting, and it was amazing. Shooting the dog being a highlight.

Also, 1:34:50 is the most repeated part for me. Vinny's laugh and Jeff's neutral-like "There you go." are just perfect.

Goddamn GTA 5 is fucking awesome so far ! My game of the year for sure.

Now i´m going back to play some more so i can watch this without spoiling it for myself.

Vinny punched the lights out of a few dudes. Why are random women off limits for punches and not men? That is just equality. On a side note that first woman going flying was spectacular.

Vinny just shooting the god damn dog was great. I almost died laughing.

I was not serious when I named it like that, I just wanted to have my own kind of offensive Vinny.

Open world games with Vinny is pretty much the best. Of course, any game with Vinny is pretty much the best.

Also, I agree with Jeff about an hour in: Vinny is playing this game like he's mentally disabled. Hey, Vinny: don't be an idiot.

Oh man, when he punched that drunk guy I was doubled over in tears I was laughing so hard.

The guy that Vinny hit in the first random encounter was Packie McReary. Don't know if it should be a spoiler but there are some great conversations with him in a heist mission if you choose him.

@jeff At about 1 hour in, Vinny punches Packie from GTA 4, who if you had a getaway car for, becomes a member of your heist team.

All the iFruit ads in-game are disgusting, bury that garbage somewhere else. Besides that GB's content has me at Day 1 when GTAV comes to PC.

If they do another GTA V video I hope they discover the dive button. If you jump and hit punch it initiates a rag doll state, absolutely amazing.

And a lot of the fun of the GTA games comes outside the missions in terms of the more open ended madness. The amount of detail Rockstar pack in is absurd, it's the best open world game created yet. It really opens up(mission design too) as it goes along and once you unlock Trevor it's just incredible. Euphoria in particular just makes the world interaction in a level all it's own. As mentioned above though, the variety in the missions is above any other open world game and it really lets you experiment in a way no other GTA game has done before.

This is the funniest shit i've ever seen.

To be honest, those really are only so prolific toward the beginning of the game when you're introduced to Chop and the vehicle customization. But the app is fucking garbage. The dog mini game feels like little more than a half formed idea. And the vehicle customization thing kind of fucked up my cars by not syncing until way later on - after I had already customized them in the game - thus downgrading them. Also had weird issues with the dog syncing. Basically, it's fucked. I wish there were an option to turn it off and play the stupid shit dog mini game within GTAV.

I can't stand how Vinny's Franklin looks - immediately got a goatee / beard for him because I thought he looked really bad without it - like the moment I saw his face it looked awkward. Also I need nice clothing on my characters always, like when Michael would default back to those ugly shorts...ugh. But I got Trevor into nice clothes (after he moved, I got him different clothes in the desert) and he pretty much always kept those on and that was awesome cause they fit him so well.

I reckon that's the moment Jeff realised why Vinny played so much Sleeping Dogs on the site previously.

Jeff is right, it is a really good rainbow.

So weird seeing GTA 5 played in third person.

I could watch Vinny and Jeff play this whole game.

The more time passes the more fondly I look back on this game.
