I Should Play Some: Bionic Commando (NES) - Part First

I love Vinny! I love Bionic Commando! Life is great!

Bionic Commando is indeed a really cool game! Played it a fair amount growing up, but it seemed a lot more difficult when I was younger. Really enjoyed the Rearmed release as well.

This game vexed me as a kid. I tried playing it a year back and got pretty far. I should probably hunker down with it someday and finish it.

This is one of my favorite games of all time. Definitely my favorite NES game.

Aww so close to the Power Plant, my favorite bgm to the game. Also a goddamn amazing remix for Rearmed. Such great music.

@vinny Inspectors the worst. I live in south Louisiana and got 3 feet of water in my house.

Before hanging drywall i had to get a moisture test for the city to show my studs and sole plates were dry enough to not mold. I got it done by a third party and let the city know i had it done.

They called me for the electrical and moisture test. I told them again i already had the moisture done, but they needed to do the electrical. He said "ok well ill just do a final electrical test" (when the walls are closed up and everything is done, instead of checking the wiring.)

So i said sure thing and i started closing up my walls. They called me again to schedule a moisture inspection. I told them again about every conversation we already had and he said "oh ok, well just make sure you change the wax rings on your toilets." Cause thats related to electrical somehow...?

Then last weekend while i was finishing the sheet rock the dude SHOWS UP and says "hey im here for your moisture test!"

tl;dr Baton Rouge flooding sucks, hanging drywall sucks, city inspectors suck.

Thank you for playing Bionic Commando Vinny! I played this a lot as a kid so I remember it fondly, plus I can't believe I finished it too. The music in this game still sounds amazing.

Maybe, just maybe - my favourite videogame of all time.

Hanging out with Vinny content is some of the best content.

You can immediatly tell that Vinny played this game a lot. He was cruising through some of those levels. I never played this Bionic Commando, but seeing how similar it is to Re-armed is pretty incredible. I assumed the mechanics were a lot more janky beforehand, but it seems pretty similar.

I once saw someone beat this game in 11 minutes. Pi pi pi!
