Teenage Crackhead Ninja Turtles

How dare I form an early impression about a game based on promotional materials intended to give us an early impression about a game. I should be ashamed.

If the fighting is nearly as fun as in Arkham City I'll buy it though I'm not a huge turtles fan (the nickelodeon show is pretty charming). Man, I wish they had released more DLC characters for Arkham City.

What was the last good Ninja Turtles game?

The last and ONLY good Turtles game was Turtles in Time on the SNES.

I'm perplexed that they didn't go with the Nickelodeon art style. That show is super awesome. I mean, this was probably already in development before they had to license it from them, but those turtles look freaking terrible. They look like something from my nightmares.

Turtles in Time was just an iteration on TMNT 2 Arcade, which is the boss sauce. So to answer, both those games.

Maybe my heart is not dark enough, or perhaps I watched another trailer by mistake, but this looks good to me.

Personally I can't get into the new series at all (and I really liked the 2003 incarnation). Every time I watch it I feel as if I'm having my own sense of humour reflected back at me, only to realise I'm not funny at all.

Dark and gritty isn't what I'm looking for from my TMNT. I'm looking for Cowabungas, and pizza. I see neither.

I think the character design is great and I really hope this game is good because Ninja Turtles are fantastic and they deserve better.
