it looks like it could be both, a very good/entertaining game, or, a very mediocre one. i hope it turns out well.

Stupid day of release embargoes.

I'm interested in this game but if I'm going to pay full price for it I wanna get that sweet TF2 gear but at the same time I'm hesitant to pre-order it without any information out there. Decisions, decisions. If I don't pull the pre-order trigger I'm going to have to wait til it goes on sale just out of principle.

@Phatmac: I can at least appreciate the artistry of a full CG trailer - ideally it will have something to do with the game. CG trailers can have great direction and tons of interesting details, while in-engine cinematics tend to be very basic - a few actors interacting in a mostly static environment. I'd even rather have a gameplay trailer, though.

I will wait to buy it when it gets itself patched up some and gets marked down too $30.

Nobody talks like they are from Hong Kong!!!! Where is the mix of of British English and Cantonese? What a disappointment that they could not even be bothered to get the voice acting right.

The devs were talking about how they were debating whether to use a Honk Kong patois/pidgin/whateveryouwannacallit, but decided to just go for straight English because it messed with the flow and comprehension of the story too much. Flip through the videos here on GB and you'll find the one where they talk about it.

That was a very well done trailer I must say. I need to save up some extra funds to purchase this but it looks good.

...And I still have no idea if this game will be any good in my eyes.

@Ace20A: it didn't itch that itch as good as I had hoped but neither did Saints Row The Third before it so maybe that itch can only be itched by a GTA proper :D Here is hoping that itches like a motherf**ker!
