more interested than I thought I would be

Haven't cared about a Twisted Metal game since the first one. Turns out, after that trailer, I still don't.

Capitalized Is and lowercase ls look very similar.

That's pretty fucking awesome.

Would be nice if it was for PC too.

Old ass trailer, but that doesn't stop me from loving it. This will be a day one buy for me.

Honestly getting psyched for this now! really think they did themselves no favour showing it last year as it was obviously in a rough state and really turned me off, but everything ive seen in  the past month is kinda touching me in all the right places!

I wonder if the game will have live action FMVs between levels...

My interest hinges on wether or not it will have a story mode like Twisted Metal:Black did. 

Twisted metal was never a big game here in the UK. I just don't get it.

I don't think I like the look of this. :( I've really wanted a new Twisted Metal for a long time, and since it has been so long since one's been out, I kind of just want more of the same of what they were doing before as opposed to them going in a new direction. I realise that's an incredibly selfish way to think, but more arena based "smash-up-everyone-you-can-and-be-the-last-car-standing" style gameplay would be perfect.

Really liking the celshaded look. It's nice to see games that try to be darker than the average game. Bloody and action heavy doesn't mean dark.

I saw this video on another site weeks ago....

Sweet Tooth is a bad ass. He's PSX old school. Right up there with Blasto and Gex.

The gameplay looks fun, but I hate the whole deranged serial killer/death metal(I guess death metal? I don't know how else to describe it) aesthetic it has to it.

It confused me at E3 when Sony decided to end with the announcement of this and not Valve supporting the PS3 as that was a way bigger deal as far as I was concerned. I've seen nothing since to suggest that this game will be worth bothering with.

Huh, didn't know Harry Potter was into wild, crazy, and wanton violence and destruction.  Guess I'll have to re-read the books...

Ugg...that was awful. If they were trying to be ironically hardcore it might have been funny, but that was just too much. The whole thing reeked of "trying too hard" angst ala the lonely teenager that sits in the back row of class scribbling skulls into the margins of his textbook...and not in a good way.

Is it just me, or did a lot of the in-game graphics look like something out of GTA3?

I also feel like they're going for the Borderlands look, but I dunno, as much as I want to be impressed, it just comes off as being cliche.

Shouldn't this one be called THE Twisted Metal?  I don't think that a car combat game will sell in 2011, especially one that on first glance looks like a PS2 game.
