South Park: The Stick of Truth Delayed to March 4

I don't know why they announced the December release date not too long ago when it's already being delayed. Whatever, as long as it's the South Park game I've always wanted I don't care how long it takes.

This would never happen is Rorie was still over there managing a team of programmers, animators, and artists.

Delaying this to next year makes a lot of sense. Otherwise it'd be cannibalized by every other holiday release.

Damn, son. Another delay. The day this finally comes out, it should have Chinese Democracy packed in.

I'm not sure what to think. The cutscenes look great. However, the gameplay seems somewhat gimmicky, as though the novelty of it could exhaust itself quickly.

Watching Ubisoft stock for next year, buying at it's low point early in 2014 before all the games hit next year. Sell off all the stock when it hits its peak and keep pumping AMD shares for the super long run!

Remember how the E3 trailer ended with Cartman, right after the release date, going "...or you know, whenever. Because video-games right?", or something of the kind?

That looks so goddamn fun. Hopefully one of the things that change is the UI on the character screen.

Everything has such wonderful detail which made the white spreadsheet appearance seem really out of place.

First game play I've seen of this, pretty interested now

For the first time in 17 years, South Park missed an episode two weeks ago (it aired last week instead). They produce a whole episode in a week. They write it, animate it, edit it, etc. in a week.

It's pretty funny how this game keeps on being delayed, given the context of the show.

This is looking great, I hope it's worth the wait.

hopefully sony gets Gaikai going by then bc I don't want to dig out my ps3 just for this game. If I can use Gaikai and play it on the ps4, that'd be great

I'll assume this never gets released so I won't be too disappointed when it gets cancelled.

Of course should it be released I'll rejoice, but it'll never happen.

Fecking Ubisoft and delays

OH MAN OBSIDIAN IS UP TO THEIR OLD ANTICS AGAIN!!! :/

Also to the guys here who are putting blame on Ubi for delaying the game, keep in mind that Obsidian's track record in terms of polish in some of their games haven't been great with only a few exceptions. They have games that they released that have been really, really buggy (e.g. New Vegas, Alpha Protocol, Dungeon Siege 3, and KOTOR 2). So in a way, I find this to be both good and also somewhat worrying news.

Titanfall, Dark Souls 2 and now this all in March.

At this point I just want it to come out, Period.

After all the THQ business I was afraid for this game's life, but i'll accept a delay or two as long as it NEVER DIES!

I think the creative minds behind this thing won't settle for anything less than perfection. When you look at everything Trey and Matt created, they don't stop until it's exactly as they envisioned it.

Hmm, looks like the beginning of March is shaping up to be the next big release period. Titanfall, Dark Souls 2, and now South Park.

This probably means Watch Dogs is set for a May or June release, if I had to guess; South Park in March, The Crew in April or earlier May. Unless, the racing game comes out in Feb or Jan, but that seems too soon, and not enough time for the developers to get anything significance done, besides some last minute polishing.
