Havent played a basketball game in ages, may just pick up last year's on pc to fill that hole and see if i even care still.

I see armpit hair rendering was a priority for the 2K team this year.

I must say, I pre ordered for the Xbox One and have not played on a console since 2k13, but the game feels better than ever-you can actually dunk from the post! Players with a good athleticism stat will finally blow by guys with a low one, and you can really feel the power and weight of your big guys. The game feels much smoother from years past, and the cheesy animations that people used to blow into the lane at an almost 100 percent success rate seem to have been corrected.

With that said, the story mode leaves something to be desired. Without spoiling anything, it feels like you have less choice than before when it comes to the my player mode (until you hit year two in the NBA), and the story is a bit cliche and the starting point of your character is basically stuck in stone.

The servers have performed much better than years past (Xbox one) but keep in mind I am playing it before the official release date and at a time where the demographic for this game is in school or work.

People on the PC seem to have some performance issues including stuttering, rubber banding, input lag and the like so I would wait if you're looking to purchase for the pc.

But the most important thing about a sports game is how it plays, and in my opinion, this version feels better than any before and that's really saying something. And you can always adjust the sliders to meet your needs.

God these games look phenomenal.

I'm not sure the games look as good as 2K wants you to think. I mean, I still see the seems very easily, but it is by far the best playing of the basketball games. So happy with my MJ edition.

I'm a white chick but my Player is a black dude and I wondered right away if my family would be different if I weren't playing a black person. I just entered the NBA #2 to the Lakers and I have to imagine things would be not at all the same if my character were Asian or something

Also has anyone looked at the Community images in create a team? Holy diver!

I really like that sports games are having a story mode tact on. Fight Night Champions had a pretty decent story.
