Street Fighter IV: Meet Seth

So Capcom rips off Dural from Virtua Fighter and calls it a day.  I don't know whether it's cool or not to have such a ridiculous character in the game.  I mean the entire fighting genre is from the days of over the top stories and characters, but in 2009 it just feels too dated.  It just doesn't mesh with the classic characters and feels more like something out of the Marvel VS games.

I hope there is a mode to turn off the new characters and just play the classic 10.  This is almost shark-jumping in my eyes.  Notice how little anyone mentions the 4 new characters any more, it's like they dug up old shitty ideas from what was probably SFIV years ago when it was still based on the SFIII hardware.

Really Capcom, just stop while you're ahead before you fuck it up.  We could be playing it now at home if you'd stop adding these throwaway characters.

What's with Japanese devs and shoving nondescript metallic bosses in fighting games?

I can already predict the massive amount of curse words I will shout playing this cheap ass boss...

Dude, this game looks so awesome. I don' t know what some of you have about it. Also if something, this final boss guy behaves like a DBZ char.

Where are people getting this from about Seth being cheap? He's remarkably well balanced out and a straight forward boss to beat. The only time an SF game ever got an over-powered SNK syndrome boss was SF3 and that's it. What are people complaining about? Play it in the arcades and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Had Gouken and Seth been overpowered in this game they would never have allowed you to play as any of them in the home versions- but they have allowed you. Because they're perfectly balanced and so's their AI.

HEY HEY, Capcom is making this game, not you cynical assholes, (you know who I'm talking too) Capcom...so their' going to put whatever crazy fucking fighter in they want, whether you like it or not.  Regardless that finish with guile looked hil-fucking-larious.

Man, he has everyone's moves. That's totally not fair. Gill was considerably more awesome however, he had long luxurious hair.

He's named Seth as a homage to the best SSF2T player on the planet, who also helped Capcom work on the game from a pro player perspective. The guy is Seth Killian, I'm sure you'll find plenty of his vids of him whooping ass on YouTube.

Eh, sadly Bison is still the best and balanced boss they hae done in SF.  I dont like these new bosses, they dont seem to fit into the SF universe at all.

Could this guy be any more stock? Look at the comments here. How many comparisons to other bosses and characters do you need? I thought he looked like Silver Surfer or Ice Man, but after looking through the commends, it's apparent he also looks like many others. Seth? Psh.

Here's my idea, and as horrible as it may be, it can't be worse than Seth, the naked guy who... uh, sucks you into his belly and then flops you against the screen like TMNT: Turtles in Time. Take Akuma and Bison, the two best Street Fighter bosses ever and fandangle some story that fuses the two together creating a Akuma-son or Bison-ma, or Ak-ison, or whatever the fuck you want to call him. Call him Chuck Fucking Norris for all I care. He'd be loved by the fans and he'd sure as hell eat Seth for breakfast.

Why cant the final boss be like this really sinistar looking martial artist,  something along the lines of Lau from Virtua fighter.  Why does every boss have to be over the top and silly? couldn't be something more natural?  Bison (Vega) was so perfect.. Gill was laughable and so is this guy.
