Tekken ....what kind of a name is that?

I've played this a bit at a Dave & Buster's in NYC and MAN is it good. Like, I haven't played Tekken since 3 and almost instantly fell in love with everything about this game.

There's a woman that summons tigers for attacks, including a literal tiger uppercut. It's the best.

It's completely obvious that the VR won't be in first person.

I am desperately hoping the VR will be in first person.

Still no release date but I don't think we are too far away from an announcement at this point. I know it probably sounds crazy but T7 is the game I'm most excited for in 2016 (it better be in 2016 mofos).

In terms of VR I think the Summer Lesson girls will be secret characters that you can only fight in VR. Either that or when you customize your characters in that damn mall with the annoying music you can see yourself in the mirror or something.

@rincewind: Sorry for pissing on your fire but King is in Tekken 7, and has been given a few of Armour Kings moves from Tag 2... So I wouldn't hold your breath

Simulating a venue experience would also be an interesting concept for VR, I think.

I would like to at least test a VR version of Tekken. At least one where you have the angle of an onlooker at the side of the ring, controlling the fighters in it. Complete with VR body and hands holding a controller that you can see when you look "down". You could even sit in a floating chair to have an immersive way of changing the perspective in game. I think that would be f****** cool.
