I still cannot see what everyone else sees in this game. I hate the fact that it goes from easy to impossible all of a sudden, some of the challenges are so difficult I have no real wish to frustrate myself with them. Oh and those voice overs were the first thing to turn off.
 
But people who do love it, really love it. I'm not saying I don't love a challenge, but this game reminds me of a lot of old NES games where the difficulty was ramped up to compensate for the lack of content. (And I know there's a level editor, but I'd rather not have to build my own version of a game just to enjoy it).

@jonnyboy: You can get 6-8 hours of enjoyment out of this game without even touching the Extreme or Track editor stuff. For a 15 dollar XBLA game I'd say that's a fair deal. Add in the high degree of replayability and Trials HD is a great little game.

Trials HD is the best 360 game of 2009, period. Top 5 of all 360 games ever. If it had community sharing, it would be the best 360 game ever. 
 
Beating Inferno II is one of my proudest gaming accomplishments ever.

As someone who is currently ranked #62 in the worldwide Trials + DLC leaderboard and has made 15 custom tracks... yeah this game is awesome and addictive!

@Getz: That's fine but most of that 6-8 hours is spent replaying the same varying 2 minutes of track again and again and again. What I would have liked to have seen are more levels with a less severe difficulty curve. As it stands, I flew through the game until the extreme stuff, then hit the wall (literally).
 
Like I said, the game came across to me as artificially difficult to make up for content.

I never used flips to carry momentum, although looking at the top runs, it may have helped.  
 
Also what song was that little riff at the end from (where they stop crashing and starting making crazy jumps)

Just so you know, Trials HD is a different, and a waaay superior, game than Trials 2: Second Edition. Really, I have both and Trials HD is soo much better.

Well Jeff did run into Bam Magera a while ago...and those 2 guys in the ad are friends is his. I think it's clear what is happening here. Jeff and Bam are selling drugs in the basement. This "ad" is a secret message to the Columbian drug lords to sell more "DLC"(aka: Dope/LSD/Coke).

Have a seriously damaged controller from this game......  I love it when the 30 minute timer resets you back to the start........  ohhh the anger.   For some reason I still bought the DLC.  I deserve the pain.

Pain makes you stronger. You must suffer trough gold medals atleast on hard to prove yourself worthy
