Finally... A game with moral choices!

The game looks terrible in my opinion. At first I thought it was an MMO.

This game looks dire. Poor graphics, stock character models, bland environments, generic moral choice system.. and worst of all - no character customisation. Who wants to play as a teenage goth or a football jock? (two things gamers totally relate to, right?) If they couldn't let you make your own character, why not just give us the regular cast of characters?

I can't even begin to fathom what they were thinking with this.

So is this a PS2 game?

Grr I want this game to be good I really do, but it isn't looking to hot at all. Also, that one guy looks a lot like Cole from Infamous...

At this point I think Silicon Knights is totally dead.

So is this a PS2 game?

I will buy it, it looks interesting and i like the idea my only problem is with the characters that you play, they should of made a create a "mutant" mode because they look bland, then again most AAA characters look bland.

Graphics don't bother me, i don't play games for the graphics i play to play them, maybe it's because i am not 12 and i don't get impressed with pretty things i just dig story and gameplay, the story looks interesting to me as does the gameplay so i will defiantly pick it up.

this game looks terrible, not just its graphics but the combat  and the areas seem uninspired which takes some doing for a game which has the X-men Licence.

Why do I feel like it's an mmo? I know it's not cause it's not coming to PC.

really surprised marvel would be happy at how awful the regular x-men look in this, i remember when MVC3 was being made Niitsuma expressed how picky marvel where with the character models, wish they'd taken the same stance with this it looks terrible

That's a terrible trailer. I applaud them for using what I assume to be the actual in-engine graphics but there is nothing interesting on display here action-wise and the character models look awful. I really hope this isn't a re-skinned Too Human, that would be heartbreaking.

I think this is the one where some comic writer made up three characters and those are your options. Yup.

What the fuck. I was really hoping this game would be good, looks like a turd that someone puked up after eating it.

Somehow this looks derivative of both Infamous and Prototype. 

graphically doesn't look like anything special but I like games in which your decisions affect the outcome.

You know, I was about to correct your spelling, but looking again that might have just been a freudian slip, and you'll be picking the game up in defiance of common sense and good taste.

Graphics should bother you. The axiom is untrue, most times you can judge a book by its cover. If Fabio is on the cover, you're probably in for a ton of cheesy romance novel. Someone who looks like a crackhead probably does crack. And this game just put its best foot forward with character models that look worse than what I could put together in 10 minutes in the Champions Online create-a-character. That doesn't bode well AT ALL for anyone. Nothing about this game looks or sounds good, and everyone who has played it or seen it at trade shows have said it looks like crap.

If this game breaks a 62 on metacritic, I will be beyond shocked.

I think I'd rather have Too Human 2 after watching that.

Sorry i don't drool or get hyped over graphics because i enjoy games, if i want to look at something pretty i will look at my girlfriend or throw money at an expensive PC, i don't judge books by it's cover i judge by the contents. I play games to play games, i like to have a fun, i don't give a fuck if it looks like a Atari or N64 game, i don't give a fuck if it looks like Avatar or a 60's cartoon.

And with that dies my love for the Legends games. It was probably nostalgia but the MUA games didn't really grab me and this game looks rough as hell.

Well more to the point, you're saying a completely different word than what you were trying to say. "Defiantly" means "rebelliously". I think you were looking for "definitely", which means "certainly". Letter placement matters. With any luck you've never emailed a boss to tell him you'd "defiantly" take care of something for him. Because you're right, this isn't high school.

You haven't played the game yet you're assuming it's going to be good, based on... The license? Everyone else is judging this game negatively based on the history of the developer and the lack of effort they've put into the only aspect of this thing that's apparent. I'm not just talking about the graphics, but design cohesion and just poor decisions as to what this game is going to be about. No one would even care if the gameplay was on point, but industry buzz so far says it's pretty much garbage.

Honestly, I hope I'm wrong and it ends up being amazing, but I don't have high hopes at all for this turd getting polished. I'll wait on reviews. But hey, if you want to get it on day one on pure faith, it's your $60; spend it however you want.

This looks kinda rough, but I love the concept so I can see me buying it irregardless...

You know, graphics aside, this game is just wrong. How about allowing us to: make our own mutant? Progress through the game with some moral choices and alliances, or give us the other option, fuck both the x-men and magneto and create our own mutant group?  But I'm guessing that they'll just use some shitty sentinel-enemy/apocalypse based storyline to tide this game over, because despite the writer of Legacy, they won't be allowed to jump forward that far, because someone has a bit of common fucking sense, and respect for the lore.
 
Handing this to Silicon Knights is just a way of making it seem like anyone at a corporate or publisher level still has faith in them. Too Human was an '08 game, and since then, SK haven't been handed anything to work on. Three years later, they come out with this? A piss poor trailer exactly like the previous one? How about another great idea? Close SK, use the money you save from paying their salaries to fund a real X-men game, scrap destiny entirely, or make it an arcade title, and STOP PISSING ON FANS BOBBY KOTICK...you ignorant fuck...how did this shit even make it past quality control as a concept?
 
I mean, for god's sake, its 2011, this shit wouldn't fly in the previous decade! Why are they doing this? Kill Silicon Knights, I implore you...jesus....I played the 2 Legends games and loved them, and now this? I don't know whether to be severely pissed off or horribly depressed.

i dont even know what to say.. how can they not let you create your character?..  maybe they will announce that later??   Hope there is a mutant power that lets you give the game current gen graphics..

This game is hideous and the character designs are horrible. Plus, the whole thing gave me this weird vibe like they were trying too hard to rip off inFamous, especially that one dude with the metal staff thing. I'd like for this game to be awesome; in concept, it's really cool. But that was just awful.
