Anytime a video game created, published and marketed by huge corporations tells you to "stand up to the man", it makes me smile a little bit.

Is it just me or is this marketing bullshit on these mega conferences just impossible to swallow. Continually using lines like "I'm pleased to announce...", "for the first time ever", "EXCLUSIVE!" The whole tone of this was so forced that even the presenters themselves are struggling to get their tongues around the syrupy hard sell bullshit.

Most of us are normal people. You can speak to us normally in a language we can associate with.

...and while I'm on a rant, was the camera man high? If not, why did he keep insisting on cutting mid trailer to the Boom camera overlooking the crowd! What a twat!

When did we Brits take over Sony?

Imagine a camera work so great that you cant even see the small details anymore...like the gameplay or other such trifling little matters....

This really bums me out. There is so little innovation. I feel like I'm back in 2005/2006 where one company is competing like hell and totally focused in games and the other company is arrogantly promoting their leadership position selling gamers a box with features they couldn't care less about. It's the same damn thing.

Whoever kept cutting away from the direct stream footage was an idiot. What the hell...?

I love Brad more than anybody. But you'd have to be deaf to not realize there are moments where you just want to yell "Shut up Brad!".

I've watched this thing like six times now. These are my favorite pieces of content they do, along with spoilercasts/spoiler-shows. Especially when Jeff is around. You can really tell he has a passion for the industry in his reactions to things, such as the announcement of Shadow of the Beast, or Mark Cerny's PS4 "pitch," or even something small like Rogue Legacy coming to Playstation next year.

I almost hope they don't go to any press conferences in the future, even at E3, so we can have more of these cool shows. Y'know, since there won't be any next-gen "announcement" pressers next year.

I love these "watch us watch" press conference videos. No one else does anything like this. It's a thing that's unique to Giant Bomb.

Not trying to pick a fight, I'm legitimately curious: What could possibly have been done here that would have made you not have this opinion? Like, would you want them to do something New and Different with hardware? Like, what the Wii and WiiU have done/did? Or maybe say "We bought Oculus, guys."? (Note: saying they should do something they're already doing, but "better" doesn't count. My example of pushing Indies even more to the forefront would be an example of this. That's not innovation, that's evolution.)
