I preordered Warhammer Online Collectors Edition about 4 months ago, and get an email telling me that its backordered and il get the game later.

Am i the only one that thinks is horrible? Or is this sort of bullshit common.

Update: EA Sent out this message, and was posted on the Warhammer Aliance Forums by an admin.

Some players have recently received an email stating that their Collector's Edition Pre-Order has been back ordered. This email was sent to most on accident and the issue has since been resolved. A majority of those who received the initial email will have their order processed and shipped on time. A small number of customers were affected by the delay due to these issues. And they also sent me an email saying that it was a mistake, and that i will get my order. Apperently its bin shipped, so WOOOHOOO.

Unlucky man :( - its htings like this that make me wary of pre-ordering, id rather take my chance anbd go to a store early - than rely on an invisible postman!

It happens from time to time, for some reason its more likely if you pre order early, I usually put a pre order in a couple of months beforehand.

I heard the same thing from a buddy yesterday. Just goes to show no matter how much it makes sense when dealing with anything EA, don't do it.

I ordered normal Edition and I'm enjoying it as I speak on my laptop but yeah would havve succckeeedd

This is why I never preorder anything online. I trust Gamestop more.... but then again I work there and I get a discount
