Overview
Dragon Ball GT: Transformation is a 2D belt-scrolling beat-'em-up developed by Webfoot and published by Atari for the Game Boy Advance exclusively in North America on August 9, 2005.
Based on the Dragon Ball GT anime (itself a continuation of the Dragon Ball manga and anime series), the game follows Goku (who was mistakenly transformed into a kid), Pan (Goku's granddaughter), and Trunks (the son of protagonists Vegeta and Bulma) as they travel throughout the galaxy to search for the Black Star Dragon Balls. Afterwards, the trio must fight the forces of the mutant Tuffle Baby, who has taken over the body of Vegeta.
Along with the traditional Story Mode, the game features four additional game modes: Single Player (where players play through the campaign with a customizable team), and three survival-based modes (which can be played in two-player multiplayer with a link cable).
It is the last game of the Dragon Ball series released on the Game Boy Advance and is the last Dragon Ball game developed by Webfoot (who previously made the Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy of Goku, Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy of Goku II, Dragon Ball Z: Taiketsu, and Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury). It is the only Dragon Ball game to focus solely on the Dragon Ball GT series (as other games with GT content are usually mixed with content from Dragon Ball Z).
