    Overview

Impossamole is a game in Core Design's Monty Mole series and is similarly another 2D platformer. The player, as Monty "Impossamole" Mole, is tasked with finding scrolls across a number of levels, which can be tackled in any order. The game shares structural similarities with Core Design's earlier Rick Dangerous II.

The game was released on the Amstrad, Amiga, Atari ST and Commodore 64, published by Gremlin Interactive (which at the time was Gremlin Software). NEC Interchannel adapted the game for the TurboGrafx-16 which, along with Turrican, makes it one of a handful of games from a European developer for a console that was never released in Europe.

On August 20th, 2019 the game was officially released on PC by Piko Interactive.
