From 1984 onwards, Erbe was the dominant publishing force of games in Spain, releasing games of such illustrous companies such as Sierra On-Line, LucasArts, Infogrames, Acclaim, Adventure Soft, Nintendo, Ocean and Gremlin. The regional domination of the Spanish region was undermined by the other companies' own expansion into Spain and led to Erbe Software's ultimate demise in 1999. Subsequently Erbe was bought by Havas Interactive.
