Cabela's Dangerous Hunts is a first-person shooter in which the player goes on hunting trips. The game features three modes which are "Quick Hunt", "Action Zone" and "Career Mode"."Quick Hunt" lets players jump right into the action by choosing a hunting tag and killing the required animal. The "Action Zone", which gives players an objective target to hunt. "Career Mode", which lets players create a custom profile and then customise their age, stats and appearance. In all styles of gameplay the player will be penalised for killing harmless animals, which will result in failing. If your character get injured by either falling into a river or being attacked by a Aggressive animal (bear, leopard and cape buffalo) the player, will fail the mission. In Career mode the player will have a energy limit and when it is depleted the player will slow down, the effect of this can be severely reduced by packing lighter.
