    Overview

    Layers of Fear 2, known in Japan as Layers of Fear 2: Kyoufu no Cruise, is a psychological horror first-person psychological horror puzzle-adventure game developed by Bloober Team and published digitally by Gun Media (later Bloober Team themselves) for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on May 28, 2019. It later received a release for the Nintendo Switch on May 20, 2021.

    A sequel to the 2016 game Layers of Fear, Layers of Fear 2 switches the player's character to a film actor aboard a vast ocean liner. Led by an enigmatic and unseen director, the actor must explore the empty parts of the ship and "build the character", only to find that the ever-changing ship is not what it seems.

    The game, along with the original, was later remade as the 2023 game Layers of Fear, with a new chapter for this game's story.
