This game is better then 2 stars. If you like WWE you'll like this game. Downloading almost perfect wrestlers from other/older wrestling venues is easy and adding there entrance music and videos is a blast. New age outlaws vs the Outsiders, Brock Lesner vs Rick Flair. Kevin Nash vs Big Papa Pump.
Unlike last year you can edit most Community created content. On the PS3 adding music is easy, find it on the internet and pin drive it right over to the console. Seeing Hollywood Hogan walk down the Nitro Ramp with Jimmy Hendrix playing is timeless. (so is seeing john Cena come out on RAW to "I'm on a Boat" by lonley island) This game has every feature Ever asked for in a wrestling game.
One of the new features this year is called the WWE universe. Its like a season mode where you can play or create any type of match and it will have a small effect on the ever changing landscape that is the WWE there's a ranking system for every title that lets you know where your created superstars or your downloaded wrestlers stand. It is a thrill to have your CAW wrestler work his way up through the ranks starting with the lest prestigious titles then moving up to the bigger ones.
OK sure the actual wrestling is dated and the AI is awful. But even if all you did was download TNA, old WWF and WCW wrestlers, threw them into The new universe mode just to see how long it takes them to move up the ranks in the WWE, or create hilarious story lines like Barak Obama Taking over RAW Only to have Sara Palin Bring in the NWO to challange him this game would be 4 stars.
If you are a fan of the WWE or like me a fan of wrestling past you will have hours of fun with this game.
P.S. I also played this game on the XBOX360 and its almost impossible to get entrance themes on the console. if you know a way to get around the security, great. Also the downloads in general were a lot slower I got a lot of error messages that forced me out of the online menus. This was super annoying since the menus take forever to load all the content. Just to let you know.
