    X-Men Origins: Wolverine Review

Wolverine is by far one of the most popular comic book character. I mean hes great. The ability to regenerate and those bad ass claws. Well, X-Men Origins: Wolverine thg movie came out and with that means a movie game. Bad news right? Games and movies dont mix. Well I was in for a suprise picking up this game.

The plot of Wolverine the game is pretty convulated. It switches from past to present to past then future and on. It loosly follows the movie plot but the main reason to get this game is not story. The gameplay is what you are here for. The gameplay is awesome. As Wolvie, you can rip, tear, and slash your opponents. This is really fun as the game is graphicly violent. The camera will at time slow down to show a SICK finishing moves. There is a xp system that allows you to upgrade Wolvie's claws, health, and other special attacks. The gameplay is fast paced with enemies dying everywhere.

The games graphics are not the best but also not the worse. They are okay but really shine in the middle of combat with pools of blood coming out of your enemies as you rip them up. Ocassionally the frame rate will drop but I did encouter some freezing but nothing that forced me to restart. Wolvie's body will start to show bones and other organs as he takes damage and his body regenerates real time which is cool.

You might be wondering what are some negative aspects of this game and honestly there really is none. What holds Wolvie back is the repetive combat. Other than that a few graphical glithces the game is great. I highly recommend you pick it up it is one of the best movie games ever.

      Summer blockbuster fun 0

X-Men Origins: Wolverine is by no means a perfect game. It has a large handful of problems, ones that range from small to medium in size. At times they make the game totally frustrating or even unplayable, and almost cause an otherwise good game to be generally unenjoyable. But the crazy thing about Wolverine is that even with all its problems, it still manages to be fun. X-Men Origins: Wolverine is a blast in the simplest of ways, making it a great game for any and all action fans.As mentioned,...

Definately not another "Movie Game"! 0

Let me firstly just say that this is probably one of the best "movie released games" ever, even grinding through the various achievments is entertaining to a degree. [[Also this will be a relatively quick review]]Story/Gameplay: Is quite long, way more in depth than even the movie and in fact branches out into some of the comic storylines. Ive been playing it for roughly eleven hours, and Ive only just had the fight with gambit so the story is quite lengthy. I think what splits this apart from o...
