So if you don't know all 4 seasons of ALF released in the US are the syndicated versions. Meaning that almost up to 5 minutes are removed from each episode. You can even see some of the missing footage in clips shown in the ending credits to each episode.

But what really makes me mad is that the full uncut versions of the episodes are on the PAL versions of the DVDs. So when does the rest of the world get those? I mean I already own all 4 seasons on DVD and I'd gladly rebuy them all (maybe at $20 a season) to get full uncut episodes.

I liked ALF up until the episode where they need to keep him in a cage, he bites the kid or some shit. Something with moon cycles sending him into a shit fit. I was emotionally scarred from that point on and was always waiting for ALF to make a death leap at Willy and the kids.

The series finale of ALF quite possible scarred me as a child. Fun Fact about Willy for the kids he likes to smoke crack and have anonymous sex with male transients. Another Fun Fact I wish I was making that up.

@odintal: They did wrap up the story with that TV movie but it wasn't very good. None of the original cast was in it and at the end they made ALF a general in the army. I don't think Rhonda or Skip were ever mentioned. He was supposed to go away with them to a new planet at the end of the series before it abruptly ended. It was poorly done to say the least.

@c1337us:  Yep, only 4 seasons. The cast wanted it over because they hated being the 3rd wheel of the show. They were just there and ALF got all the good lines so they ended it after 4 seasons before the cast became miserable.

@PlasmaBeam44: Wow. In my memory it seems like it should have lasted longer.
