So I just saw the Pax 10 video, and the one game that blew me away was Antichamber. I love everything about what was shown; the look of the game, use of primary colors, the strange mechanics, but I don't fully get how it works. If anyone understands the game better, or what exactly the objective is, I would like some more explanation.

A first-person exploration/puzzle game set within a boldly-colored world with a focus on non-euclidean geometry and optical illusions.
Help Me Wrap My Brain Around This
I created it, and I can say that it works best when you know nothing. Without saying too much, it's a game about taking 25 years of history of games and actively making the player unlearn all of that to make space for what else is possible in a game. It's a game about space, geometry and perception, it's a metroidvania in a giant seamless world, it's about discovery and exploration, and it involves puzzles. The rest, I'll leave up to your experience once it's released.
@Ahmad_Metallic That page is super super old, and the images / description should probably be updated to match the website. :)
@Ahmad_Metallic: What's so hard to understand? It's simple. It's a...uhh...ummm...it's clearly *starts having seizures*
I'm all for having my perception of space fucked with. I can think of a few games that have played with it in an Escher-like fashion, and I thought those where really cool, but I've always had a strong spacial visualization ability, and they ended up being way too simple to fully satisfy. I would love for a game to really push me in that area.
Looks like something I would enjoy :o Really can't say that I like the art style too much though - I reckon it would look a lot better with flat colours rather than gradients.
Also, 8.5 mins of footage from the game.
@Demruth: The animation of blocks disappearing is what got me. I got a very "Take on Me" vibe from it.
But yeah dude, your game looks awesome. I can't wait to play it.
You can play an unfinished verison of it if you go to the Unreal Dev Kit site. Makes way more sense when you play it, and is also crazy awesome.
@Dread612 It may be early 2012. I'm not sure. I have no idea. We'll see. I'm always working to get it done, but this game is incredibly difficult to get right. :)
@EVO Yeah I'm Australian
