Overview
A spinoff of Arknights that is supposed to be a "real-time 3D RPG with strategic elements," announced in March 2022. The player takes on the role of the "Endministrator," directing their crew on the surface of Talos-II. There was a closed beta test launched in November 2022 for select players.
Set sometime in the future after the events of Arknights. Talos-II was discovered thanks to a teleporter discovered in the Eternal Icefields at the north pole of Terra. However, the people attempting to colonize Talos-II encountered wild beasts called Aggeloi, and a force called The Blight, that threatened their expansion efforts. The Endministrator has been tasked with rebuilding the Endfield base and protecting the Originium reactor to restore civilization to this new world.
Unlike the base game, Endfield is a third-person action RPG. Players roam around a semi-open world map, fighting beasts and enemies in active combat, using their Operators' strengths to break through enemy defenses and making use of elemental bonuses to end fights faster.
