I feel like an asshole for being sad about not getting a stream, but come on - that's the best part of E3. I'm sure they're just as bummed to not be streaming, and having to deal with cops and reports. Good luck tomorrow; keep morale up, and find the guy and kill him.

I'm glad they cancelled the show: I don't think any of the staff are in a right state of mind to to a livestream tonight, and they have a busy day tomorrow.

I hope this doesn't affect the Giant Bomb crew too much over the coming days and weeks. You don't really understand what it's like to have something stolen from you until it happens.

Man e3 was going awesomely this year and this shit had to ruin. I hope its just a misunderstanding and the equipment was not stolen. If it was stolen I hope they are able to find the assholes who took it. Remember this though

So. Any sleuth work we can do to figure out who stole it? I can't imagine its easy to pawn Red Scarlett cameras, $5,000 lenses, tricasters, etc. Most pawn shops might not have enough to cover it. Unless the thieves are taking individual pieces to various shops and only asking for chicken scratch for 'em.

I can imagine all the equipment back for tomorrow, and Drew just saying, "Oh, I just found it somewhere."

Yo, everyone loves an underdog story. Giant Bomb is the Rocky Balboa of E3.

Drew does not have money but he has a particular set of skills. Skills that he has acquired over a very long career. Skills that make him a nightmare for those burglars. He will look for them and he will find them.

Good to hear everyone is ok ... this sucks, but I'm sure you guys will figure it out somehow. On the bright side: This will make for some really interesting storys.

I feel bad for them, because they've poured their heart and soul into making E3 an enjoyable experience for everyone... but the irony of the situation is way too much for me to handle, after the heist and caper discussion two weeks ago.

I'm glad everyone's OK, though. That's what's important. The Bombcrew is tough as nails. They'll make the best out of this shitty situation, I'm sure.
