This message is less about any sort of "we have it" bragging and more to let you know about our coverage plans.

Mail call! Along with retail copies of Red Alert 3 and Spider-Man: Web of Shadows, this thing showed up, too...

Personally, I think Gears is overrated, but I'm interested to see how this game turns out.  I enjoyed Halo's gameplay a lot more than the first Gears of War.  Gears seems like it is more about over-the-top gore than actual gameplay.  The universe just didn't interest me; everything seemed so generic.  Some of the gameplay mechanics were cool, but I was expecting more.  Maybe this one will change my opinion.  I'm looking forward to your review.

Actually, I'm more excited that you guys will review Spider-Man.  Not to say that I dislike Gears 2 or anything, but I kinda feel like I know everything I need to about it.

it pisses me off that a mate of mine who is a proper "knock off nigel" already has this and has been playing it :(

of course when you look at his gametag its full of "pretty much every single game ever" but he has about 2k in achivements for them all combined, he is not what i would consider a gamer, he simply gets them just so he has them.

the only game i have ever seen him play for more then 5 mins is call of duty 4

his thoughts about gears 2 was and i quote this from him

"it looks just like gears 1 "

he has no clue, it pisses me off, i doubt he has even played it since!!
